I was pirated by a total idiot today. In face of navy guns, he ninja pirated me. I'm pretty sure its illegal or was told so they were supposed to go after escort first. Anyway he made me drop all my cargo. As a pirate you arnt supposed to take away that much, well not to the point where I wish he just kileld me instead. Anyway he basically fled with MY LOOT when the navy nearly killed him, I was hanging around just in case he died and I could get my stuff back.

Some idiot hacker with outcast ID.

I don't care what happens, I just don't want him to get away with this. I hatae these idiots as much in RL and in game, if I see him in the streets I wouldn't hessitate to beat him up.

also there really should be some ruels on this. Maybe set a max $ of profit the pirate can demand. 50% sounds as far as it should go, not 90%.

What's you point exactly? Whining?

By restricting the amount a pirate may demand you will destroy the game entirely.

I don't see the point of giving him ANYTHING if its above 50% the value of my route. and most pirates are ok but this guy aint. Hes damn unreasonable and needs to be taught a lesson.

Well, then let him blast you. Easy as this. That's the way it goes.

Ninja pirated gets 10 points
Ignoring escort is another 10 points
Taking all the loot puts him down to 0 again tho, so he's your average pirate.

Also, they aren't supposed to go for escorts first, escort is there to pummel him to death while he tries to take your cargo

It's a completely reasonable demand to tell a trader to drop all his cargo. Whether or not you chose to drop it, you would have lost your cargo anyway. You should have tried to bribe him with credits.

He didnt break any rules. But, A word of advice. Be a smuggler. You ussualy dont have to worry about pirates and their related annoyances, and it makes far more money than trading.

Why don't you have to worry about pirates if you're a smuggler?

Hacker with Outcast ID? If it was just hacker, I wouldn't be surprised if he demanded all cargo from a Liberty corporation ship - they really don't like them (in RP). Of course, I don't know what ship you're flying.

Less whining, please. If you don't like the demands, you can barter. Of course, under the nose of escorts and navy the pirate isn't likely to give you much time for that. On the other hand, if the opposition is strong enough, he may choose to take the quick lower offer. Oh, and nobody forces you to obey him. If there are escorts and navy patrols, you can try fighting off the pirate. So many choices on your side ...

Oh, and good job to the pirate! A bold move, which paid off.
