low level clans

I see one problem on your end. Your opposition always has the upper hand in combat. So you do a lot dieing. And nobody likes to die infinitely.

But swarms of weaker craft are always dangerous.

Not just one faction but mabey for now just two like rogues against navy later on more factions if theres enough people but i wanna have it so theres always something to do when theres other clan members on.

Also if anyone has any ideas send me a message or just post it.

[Corsair]

Pirating in a Stiletto = EPIC WIN. Especially if you get a cool trader, who pays you a sum accordingly. Something like 25-50k.

I do believe theres a corsair group of under level 30 ships who regularly fly in Bretonia, although I've never run into them myself.

I own an unarmored Legionnaire.

For those who are unfamiliar with this ship, it's like an elongated starflea, with a lil more kick.
Specs: x2 class 4 gun mounts,
x2 class 5 gun mounts,
CD and mine.

It's the lowest ship I've found for corsairs. Sad to realize that corsairs do not have any class 4 or lower guns, so I have to use civilian weapons. To those that have paid my pirate KUDOS! Other than that, a small volley of transport turrets and I goes poof. Happy to say the train CD is more costly than the rest of the ship and loaout.

For such a small investment, I have been paid back ten fold at least.

I'd love to see a lot more low class vanilla ships. Hey people, the ships are out there, gives them some lovins! When your out to just role play, max armor and high class weaponry is just for show. They won't cost you much, a slot in one account.

Also, I propose a marker of sorts (maybe a (-1) at the end of the name) to signify the lack of power to the ships so the local pew-pew-pewers don't feel to high and mighty when one sidewinder send the pilots floating in space.

Events would be extremely hard to keep low since upgrades are all we are used to, so say events for ranks <34 or so, but I would think many of us would have TONS of fun zipping around in the lesser ships.

I love this idea!

This would open so many more faction choices for people!

It wouldn't even have to be a "graduating" sort of system (to get into higher clans) it would just be solid fun low level to low level RP.

Imagine low level police against low level pirates. It would be great.

I'd even be glad to help fun one of these factions!

(And yes, the Corsairs do have a low level faction running around in Bretonia...:))

If we keep our levels below 29... Which isnt really that hard im usually around 15 on my Rogue.... Then no wtflawlrs can really do much to us.... and anyone who does wanna do this message me and we can pick out a faction and fight the low level Corsairs since they seem to have this already set up.

I was also wondering if anyone thinks its a good idea to have an agreement between the low level clans to shorten the re-engagment time... since there just fun ships to RP and pvp with to the max I don't think theres reallya any need to have a full 4 hour waiting period to re-engage.

But anyone who wants to do this send me a message so we can all get together and set down the basics and all =)

There is definately a low level corsair faction running around Bretonia. They also have a high level wing as well although I wouldn't have any idea who they might be....
For those interested, theres also a low level Bretonian police outfit (The Constables) in Cavaliers who love trying to give them a spanking.
