• This is the Doctor again, updating registry information on the ship I command.
  

• Due to many instances of being damaged, crippled, gutted, and practically detroyed, what was left of the older cruiser Seker (Or Khonsu as it was known in its last days) has been decommissioned and was promptly melted into scrap to be used in repairing other Recon Cruisers that had fared better.
  

• Seeing as how this ship had become, of late, too small for our research and medical operations, and also scrap, a larger vessel was commissioned with the intent of its becoming a fully-funtional hospital and research center. This had been the mission of the Cruiser Seker, but it had proved too small and vulnerable to successfully carry out its duties.
  

• Thus, the Carrier Khonsu was born. With a much larger hull that was able to contain hangars for ambulances and rescue craft (something we were sorely missing back on the cramped Seker) and a larger, proper hospital and a research lab, the Khonsu was suited for all aspects of its purpose - and it has even been tested in combat situations and proves itself to be more than capable of defending itself, thanks to the defensive genius of my Weapons Officer, Karl Richter. This ship itself was quite an investment in time and minerals, but myself and those of my crew who were technologically minded assisted the shipbuilders as best we could to expedite this process and tailor the ship to the specific requirements. Brilliant doctors and nurses were brought on board to staff this field hospital. Several scientists were handpicked by myself to help me in my work in the research center.
  

• With this larger and better suited ship, I'm hoping now that we can make a sort of a difference with our treatment of the wounded.
  

• I took official command of this vessel today. This transmission is being sent after its official maiden voyage. We chose the name "Khonsu" in honour of the ship of Grand Admiral Malacos, but also for the ancient Egyptian wanderer god of the moon and healing.
  

• A fitting name if I do say so myself, though some may think it vain.

greetings order this is the captain of the destiny ascension speaking. at the moment i am of zoner guard rank and status. in short time i will be purchasing the order light carrier also kown as the *geb* it will above all be used to defend the numorous freeports that we zoners run. as freeports are looked at as sanctuary's it shames me to see the fighting within the no fire zone. i hope not to use the geb to destroy a ship shooting within the *NFZ* but if it comes this far i will do it to ensure the continued survival of the respective freeport.

" You might want to wait with that purchase you have in mind , Zoner. The Order High Command , as far as I know , has not authorized the construction of one of these vessels , especially not for such an absurd task as Freeport defense.

The Carrier class is an Order made and used ship , it's not something we allow everyone to simply purchase and leave with. For such a ship to be granted , you will have to first have authorization from the Council of Zoners , then you will plead your case before the Order High Command and only after we have decided , will you move to the actual "purchase". "

"Captain Cruz, adding onto the details already provided by Admiral Bre'Delakorsa, I must ask... why would the Zoners ever need one of our carrier class vessels? Zoners are not known for heavy use of fighter-class craft, and the Carrier itself would not be a suitable vessel for a defensive role, especially in defense of a Freeport."

"I highly doubt any request for such a ship will be approved by the Zoner Council, and it certainly isnt going to be approved by the Order High Command. The Geb is an assault carrier, designed to resupply our forces in deep space, not to defend any one location. I suggest you stick to a Zoner Destroyer or similar vessel for Freeport defense."

so thats how it works huh...the zoners grant the order permission to aquire a zoner aquilon carrier...and in return we are not allowed to use the Geb? just me thinking loud now but i see changes in the near future

I would like to see this example of when the Order has required an Aquilon Carrier.

And if you think you have the "right" to just walk away with any ship you choose just becasue you are an ally, i suggest you think again sir.

Also, why do you need this ship, when the zoners have a perfectly good capital line of ships?

I will be curious to see one of us using an "Aquilon" Class Zoner Carrier. We have already our mighty "Geb" Class Order Assault Light Carrier and I don't see why an order captain will be using Zoners vessels. However, like my comrades said, you will need the permission of both the Council of Zoners and the High Command of the Order before purchasing a Geb. We will talk about it as soon as possible and we will give you our answer when we will have took a decision.
