60000 shield damage 120000 hull damage
300000 energy usage 0.25 refire rate
800m/sec 2K range

To prevent spamming we can get it mounted on a CD spot so 1 GBAC per GB what do you day?

Theres a pivotal reason for their lack of anti capital weapons: They're not designed to fight capital ships.
Essentially, 800m/sec is yelling for someone to instajoust with it. The supernova travels at like, 350ish.
Besides, it would make forward guns completely useless on the ships that have em.
So yeah, they shouldn't be moving back to the 'jack of all trades' catergory.
Edit: Besides, Razors and pulses do their job fine, a couple of well piloted gunboats can take out a poorly piloted capital ship.

I don't see why we need anti-cap guns on GBs, they can already take down fighters fairly well, and deter bomber fire from allied caps.
