OORP if being sold outside the Faction.

Doesn't make sense for a say Corsair or a LN to sell their ship to the highest bidder that inst in the faction or affiliated with it in any way.

It would be slightly OOC anyways, as people will just switch to their merc to buy it.

In actuality, you could justify 'selling' a battleship.
The bidding could essentially be bribes to the current Admiral etc to choose the next captain etc.
There are always ways to justify these things.

I voted inRP with OORP intentions. Whai? Because a lot of good RP posts are in there.

Still, seems some faction members don't like people selling certain ships and like to provide a little incentive for the seller not to go ahead with it, usually in a negative way.

Heh, I'm the only dude voting "In RP"

The problem is not everyone see how to bring some few things in RP.
Look at the lag, it's purely OORP, but with our ions storms, we made it in RP !

Find your way, I gave one already : http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?s=...st&p=715176

Other.

If a posting is made that is not in RP, then it should find itself in flood fairly quickly.

Quite frankly, I was quite amused by http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=46178 - even though I should have been Not Amused - but that's another poster.

I have purchased three capital ships on the forums recently, two within faction and one that was not. In all cases, posts were made in RP regarding both the transfer of title to the vessel and the disposition thereof. For those of us who do not have the time to rep something up - this is the perfect way to put some credits back into the economy.

I again find myself agreeing with Grimly here - if the post is done right, there is no reason why a ship could not be sold.
