Regarding the forum and game

Listen. Really, this is getting a bit silly.

When I come to the forums I expect to read some nice RP, maybe write up some myself and post in some development threads about new ideas and ships and what not.

What I really don't want to see all over the place when I come here though is well....what I see here the most: People flaming, people arguing about ballancing, people abusing the name of the nerf toy line.

The same can be applied in game... as long as we keep the OoRP conduct down, keep the RP up and the metagaming down, we'll all have a lot more fun.

Sure there are problems around here...everyplace has some problems, but really, when I log in and the main page is full of nerf threads or threads bashing other players....well it is alot less fun. It makes this place a bit more stressful, and I don't come here to get stressed.

I come here to have fun, how about you guys?

Im quite tired of "Nerf this" "nerf that" threads too. Most of them are made out of personal anger, or disapointment more then from good will.

Heh , that was the reason I left the first time around. Everyone kept whining about something, factions were powerhousing their wills onto everyone, indies were characterised as the devil. It completelly killed the fun for me. At least I returned with a brand new cold obsidian heart and I just dont give a damn about all the crap thats going on anymore.

But yeah , everyone needs to chill. It kills the fun for everyone else.

But yes I totally agree, we need to chill.
Balancing as been done by guys who are experienced in it, they know what they are doing and for now, the only thread about balance that was useful this last month was the one about the Mako hitbox that was really badly made. Still this issue is being fixed.
Appart from that we got dozens of nerf the bombers and buff the caps and add CD to BS threads. Its just annoying.
