Time to get something positive going in the forums. And no I don't mean who's the best pvp captain.

I'm not sure if anyone has ever posted anything like this, but atm it does not hurt either. So a bit of kudos and encouragement to RP cappers out there.

I mean that do you know capship captains you really enjoy playing with? Either on your side or the other? Do they elevate the RP and the atmosphere in the system just by being there and RPing their caps well? I'm flown with and against good capital ship pilots. And, boy does the good BS behemoth well RPed make the day. It's chilling to go against one when there's tension rising. To me it does anyway. Post you praise.

So to the names.

Varyag- I guess a lot of people know him. A cruiser Kapitan of the Hessians. But the most memorable of his deeds are on the RP field, not at the shooting range where he's not a rookie either. I'm sure many RM pilots can testify of his excellent eye for situations. He's not in ganking business.

Gronath- when he was still around it was top notch leadership and RP in Rheinland. With this I mean when he was flying the cap. Malexa is doing a heck of good job there now, but I haven't met the RM caps lately.

Cam's Rheinland BS. He has learned a lot. His eye for when to cut the losses and run is remarkable. Not many captains know when to do it really.

LN caps. I'm surprised to find very good cap captains among them in Liberty too. I can't remember the specific names but you certainly know who they are when you meet them. But because it seems that there are about a kazillion of LN caps it's hard to really remember the good ones.

OPG/Benitez/TBH caps. You can expect some very good RP from them.

Personally I have not met Mon'Star, but all I've heard has been good to the boot (RP wise, not the char;)).

I'm sure I have forgotten a lot of people, so give kudos captains who deserve them.

Flying under radar.

To Rouge (did I spell it right?). Kudos to him in his osiris. I have learnt alot from this guy, and I continue to learn today.

As for myself - I don't use caps - except for my blood dragon battleship which is currently orbiting around somewhere in New Tokyo... RPing with people. This be shared anyway.

Ceoran's Sarissa Tramonto Del Sol and I have always gotten on very well. Unfortunately, I don't really know anybody anymore, since we never get to take them out and do stuff with them for fear of flames. I've also seen a couple of really proficient Liberty Dreadnoughts/Battlecruisers on the rare occasion I deem to stay in Liberty longer than the requisite ten minutes a month I spend keeping my yacht from getting deleted.

It's wait and see if your name comes up here. I wouldn't get my hopes up though anytime soon. It takes a lot of time and effort to gain a good reputation as a cap captain.

Flying under radar.

Well when I was in my cap I've only received one complaint and that was it.

Don't forget Malexa. It's always fun to have her in command of the [RM]-Ravensburg, because you will see like four-five people speaking over the comms.

And the situations which are encountered are always interesting.

A little off topic, but is mutliple people on comms considered an essential facet of capship RP?

In my opinion, the only people on comms should be the captain, the XO and the communications officer. Under normal circumstances anyway
