Just add -win and you'll WIN the game! Example: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\EXE\Freelancer.exe" -win

That, combined with Youtube, there's no stopping you. EPIC.

Oh and don't fight in windowed mode.

Expecting fun from the game itself is not something you should when you come here. Gameplay isn't exactly Disco's strength. Sure, PvP is nice, but it gets boring once you've figured everything out and get good at it. Trading is boring. Mining...urgh. Disco does not even have really stunning visuals - it's basically Vanilla Plus.

What makes Disco fun and the mod itself great is the roleplay aspect of it (that is, if you find the right people to RP with - sadly, Disco is overrun with morons >__>). The mod offers plenty of opportunity for great storytelling and interaction - use it, else, your fun here will be rather short. Don't approach everything here with an MMORPG mentality. This isn't WoW.

Edit: Also, the true perfect solution to trading is a laptop next to your own PC. Now, if I could just be arsed to do me a mouse macro for trading, things would be even better...hm.:P

You seem to be having more fun creating threads on the forum, the true endgame isn't a battleship it's some sort of enjoyable roleplay with other characters with no preference to vessel type

In Freelancer, there isn't really an Endgame....

Unless you somehow have every ship and weapon/item/ commodity in the Game....

The Game is for Roleplaying. Try something other than Shooting for a change.

Try making a casino, or a Luxury yacht.
or a prison.
