nerf yes, the hullrating of a typical bomber will let him survive multible hit with nuke mines and cannonballs, even some minirazor hits.

A bomber can even without shields fully concentrate on the cao hes downing, when under fire from VHFs. Basicly the minirazor is the only thing that can take out bomber befor they blow up that battleship. But youll need a lot of fighters...dont know 2 per bomber?? at least??

maybe a 5000 less hullrating nerf could do the job, the bombers would still have a lot of bots to save them from dieing to fast or a full volley of primaries in the face, but give fighters a chance to shoot them down.

I disagree with this, Pytho and Mamoru (almost useless) are bad enough with 2/2 setup, that Fanfir thing has at least bonus CD slot and heavy hull. With no regular guns at all, killing a fighter would be almost impossible.

But what would I like to downgrade is BH bomber. That's more like a fighter with SNAC/Nova on it, that ship is way too overpowered. Dunno about others.

Having a 2/2 setup is exactly the same as having the usual 4/2, because no bombers can fire more than 4 weapons forward ('cep the BHG bomber), so i dont see the difference.

Well, to compensate for the lack of guns, all the bombers should get a CD slot, so they can mount 2 weapons and a CD. Bombers are meant to be cap killers, not our all-around pwn ships. If guns are removed, all fighter types will be able to kill a bomber easier, which is the whole point of fighters: to take down bombers.

I voted no because it does not fix the problem:
Fighters cannot kill Bombers fast enough.
The only thing your proposal does is that Bombers cannot kill fighters...

I see only one way reduce bomber agility

In a previous post I also suggested to increase fighters weaps damage and projectile speed, but that's bad if it also benefits the bomber.

Is that so? I think I saw 5 projectiles from Nodachi...well I would still prefer 4 gun hardpoints instead anyway. A bit more damage, more possibilities what to do with it (i mean gun/missile/codies...). That reminds me, I would make missile launchers in special hardpoint. None in bombers, one/two in fighters. That would help the fighter/bomber problem some think here is.

Well, I've never been killed in my Black Dragon by a bomber (except the BH one, grrr). And I fly without mini razor...

Not much to a Battleship shield. But Bombers kill Cruisers and Gunboats too, remember?

When you're fighting a gunboat/cruiser, you SNAC down their shield, then by the time your energy recharges, so has their shield. So then what are you going to do? SNAC it again over and over? x4 Debs or Codes is easily enough to down a Gunboats shield, and two bombers can down a Cruisers shield with concentrated fire.

Besides, if you removed their guns and gave them all an extra torpedo mount like the Barghest, everyone would mount MRs and kill Fighters anyway. You failed to solve one problem, yet created another.

Well this is not a bad suggestion.

I'd insist on bombers keeping their energy capacity due to what is required to shoot a SN. If they had a limit of class 8 guns would this be an ok resolution?

Tbh, I think it's a better idea to make fighters "a little" more capable than to nerf bombers.

I say that bombers should have the grace of a thrown brick. And I mean all of them. I hate having these nimble bombers out-maneuver my VHF. Can you dogfight with a B-17? A B-2? A B-25? Hell, can you dogfight with a Warthog? Not really. So why should you be able to dogfight in those?
