Personally I think devs made great work with balancing things. I mean like in my Claymore, I was killed by four Mammoths in secods. In Pytho I have hell of a problem to kill a fighter. I usually end up killing it (if not dead already) by Nova torpedo, eventually killing myself as well.

Why to dig in something which works?

In my opinion they do not need any stat nerf like equipment, power and such.

But I have suggestion wich would help escorts to take them down faster.

Reduce their truster speed. Caps got 140.. Figters 200.. perhaps bombers can have something about 170m/s ? what you think? They would be shooted much more easier. And still the avalability to take down lone battleships would be left the same. Which agian would encourege use of escorts.

Let it as it is at the moment. It's extremely fine. If you cant kill a Bomber in your Shiny VHF, then you suck and should use the time for Practice, not whining.

Because lolwut caps want blue message with their caps name at the SECOND position.

Problem is they don't know that primary and cerberus guns do NOT make the job against the bombers.

The exorcismus and the executioner from the OPG are still waiting for a gunboat/bomber fleet to beat them.
