I could imagine seeing that around, would give the game some more atmosphere too, I mean, now it seems a bit... bland, I think would describe it best. But yeah, those effects should be added methinks.

I don't think we could get all if it,but those jump gates,missiles,everything is shiny and nice.
I like it a lot,and would like to see at leat some of those effects in future on our server.

I think if everything is all snazzy and shiny, it dulls the experience of the game.

Plus we shouldn't rip from other mods just for the hell of it. Discovery has its own style, it's not a full-graphics replace of the original freelancer game.

Looks very... graphics intensive. I'm running off my internal graphics at the moment (cause my PCI-E slot is broken, apparantly...) and the game already lags for me whenever I SNAC something and even sometimes when I look at Nebulas from afar.

Not everyone has an uber PC...

I'm not saying we have to add all of it. Mostly I'd like to see the jumpgate thing added (custom jumpgates, like in the first video link), and the planet retextures to make them look more realistic. Neither of those seems like it'd be very graphics intensive.

The lightning cannon would be cool too, for a beam weapon =P

Right now - I really believe that disco has improved on alot.

What we REALLY NEED, is graphics and sound.
