Unfortunately, my modelling skills are fail, so I'll do up a drawing later.

But it's sort of long and thin triangular prism-ish with pods along the sides. And lots of turrets.

And pyramid points.

I really like the overall design on your solar sail ship... but heres what I got to say about the sail part:

-Solar sails are not for collecting energy from a sun, but for prepulsion, using a sun's rays.
-A stationary ship of course would then not need one.
-A sail in the "rear" of the ship also does not make sense. If a ship were to utilize a solar sail for movement, it would have to be located in the "front", even though the concept of "front" and "back" is slightly irrelavent in the vaccum of space.

I would really suggest removing the sail all togeather. Otherwise the model is very nice looking. Very imposing and formadable.

and for the solarsail, can we get somesort of light focusing effect?

@mives. jinx's Idea has it as a mirror made of superlight ultra reflective clothe/plastic/metal that relflects light onto a central point for increased power collection ability. not for prepulsion.

Oddly enough, a Solar Sail is doable in real life, the technology is available and the theory says it will work, but like some things in life, there isn't a good enough reason to see if it would actually work.

I like the sail design, but think! This ship will probably be hidden or protected in RP terms so the sail will not be severely impairing as far as shooting stuff is concerned.

Maybe put a few stationary or at least cruisers around the sail like at the shipyard in Omicron 100

Personally, I don't like the aesthetics of the sail, but thats just me. The actual ship looks imposing, controlling, and something I would definitely try to avoid if I was in the area.

I bet that Ophidian has already sorted this out, but what will a super battleship do to the balanced economy? I mean, there are going to be massive changes to the internal structure of the Order and how its going to work and operate, so would they physically have the workforce to do something on such a scale?

How does the BHG have workforce to make 100 Caps? Shouldn't the Order have enough workforce to make 1 big ship? I mean really...

Building of the new ship (base) will require the RP telling of how and what was used / sacrificed to create that thing. However, considering that a scenario of losing Isis / Toledo (if it makes it into the game after debates) gives many Order personnel the need of finding a new place to work / inhabit - allocating all the force Order has, with resource and supply aids its getting in RP and in-game wise (zoner deals etc), can be doable.

I mean, Evora shipyard is huge, its there. Mora base is rather big, its there. So they "did" certaing things at least.

And sincerely, I want to see some Nomad technology implemented, at least in RP backstory, of certain Order equipment / bases / weapons whatever.

This big ship can have that RP, the alienated engineering. WARNING: NOT alien technology itself but xeno sciences giving certain new "visions" and reverse engineering of nomad weapons and stuff for certain energy needs can be implemented and used to explain certain specifications.

It is rather dull not seeing any technological "tryouts - at least" of Order while being in direct contact with an advanced species for years - even decades.

Economical balances will change up to some scale for sure but its also why we are a community, to discuss and improve things together. Though most of the time 85% of us forget that and bash each other in an egofeast.

I like the ship design, but not the sail. I just think that somthing of that size wouldnt really exist, maybe smaller ones?
