Mind telling Taiji.Shikyo that me dumping the GC pilots into space would kill them? Shaking my Cryer down for the GC pilots in my hold is perfectly logical. What is not logical is telling me to dump them into space, which would be fatal. The proper way is a trade request, but I tried that and it didn't go through, due to my aggressor not listening to my role-play. It's a rather important role-play detail.
A pilot that is being held captive may or may not still have their spacesuits on. Considering that I was using them to study the effects of Cardimine on the human body, odds are the spacesuits have been taken off, and therefore jettisoning them into space would kill them. However, I didn't really get a chance to explain in-game how they were being used for the sake of sciencce.
Whenever a pilot or human being is ejected from a ship, they are ejected via a pod, as you'll see if you look at them close up. Therefor, demanding you to 'drop' them, rather than trade them over is perfectly acceptable. It's also a much safer alternative for the pirate in most circumstances.
Well, the point is I was trying to hand over the pilots in my own way, through a trade request rather then jettisoning them, and I got summarily destroyed. I always accept the trade requests until the trader tries something funny like charging up cruise while the trade window is open, or offering me 100k rather then 1 mil
Your Own way would have involved me getting VERY blown apart as you were more than well aware of the fact of the NPC KSP that were trying to shoot me down. I have you FAR more than enough time to do exactly as I asked you to which I have the exact words used all on Screen shot.
It woud be smart of you to pay attention to not only who is stopping you, but what else is in the area at that time.
The outright fact you were openly broadcasting your intentions to do harm to those captives is more than justifyable reason for me to blow you away and then some. ANY unlawfull would demad their pilots back if not shoot you down for the mere fact that you had them prisoner.
If you had bothered to make some other RP other than the "Lets experiment on them" routine, it might have gone differently. Truthfully, after i make my report tomorrow, except a lot more very unfriendly encounters anytime your seen anywhere near our space.
Alex.. You're the helpless trader, he/she is the pirate able to kill you.. Don't want blown up, do what they tell you to, to the letter. Don't follow their instructions, and you're liable to be destroyed. I've had traders caught with a full cargo of Gold in New Tokyo, and told them to drop their cargo.. They'd givecash me 2mil. So I givecash it back, give them one more warning to drop it, and if they don't, I blow them up. Yes, they paid me. But I didn't tell them to pay me, I told them to drop the cargo. They didn't, they get blown up.
This situation wasn't any different. The pirate gave you an order, you didn't abide by it, the pirate blew you up. Common sequence of events. And once you started getting shot, you should've just dropped it.
""A pilot that is being held captive may or may not still have their spacesuits on. Considering that I was using them to study the effects of Cardimine on the human body,""
Whoa,Whoa, Whoa.
Rewind that last part.....
"...Considering that I was using them to study the effects of Cardimine on the human body,"
Let me get this straight. YOUR experimenting *ON* some of MY Sisters???!!???
Not ..."Rescue".....Not a "saving-the-day'' Bu****it story......but admitting to 'experimenting' on Golden Chrysanthemums pilots.
....After I forward this commu`kay to our Command units, I think some of Us Girls are going out for a little Test Flight of our own. Maybe some of our weapons can discuss this matter in great detail with your ship on 'Why It is a Bad Idea to Experiment on Our Sisters' ,in 1,000 shots or less.

The above statement has my full support.
In a brilliant tactical movement, i charged backwards.
So in other words, we were thinking 2 different things when I was told to drop the cargo. I was thinking along the lines of 'dumping people into space is murder' while my aggressor felt she was too busy to do a trade request. That resolves the issue. Thanks. I'm sorry if anyone took this the wrong way.
Next time could you tell me to put them in spacesuits before dumping them, so I don't have to role-play them suffocating in space?
