Just an intresting point to do with zoners and gallia, for the moment, zoners are one of the few factions that have an active bounty from the GRN...Its quite intresting to see that the faction that till now has basically been neutral to everyone finally has someone willing to take them out.

Please, people *cough* Tycho *cough*, get it through your heads that this is a SPOILER. There has been a LOT more discussion than just posting this up. There will be even more discussion of exact lore and implementation as we get closer to a 4.86 release.

Personally - I would be a lot happier if the extremely light blurb concerning the Dragons was all there was. We can then choose our own destiny...

Not to personally attack anyone here, but this needs to be said.

Look at for example the Hogosha, we took a major hit in this new storyline. All our influence and foothold in the Kusari government just completely went ballistic. We lost a lot of power there.

But nobody in the Hogosha leadership is complaining. Not here and not on Skype.

We welcome the challenge of re-establishing our place in Kusari. Now there are new rules and new figures to follow.

Instead of trying to hope for the storyline being written in a way that would be the most beneficial for your faction, try to work with what you get. In the end, it is a far more productive approach. This isn't targeted at anyone specific and more of a general thing being thrown out there. Not only to this "spoiler" being presented here but to the future ones as well.

Less complaining, more brainstorming.

Um...are there any plans to improve the graphics further then just a simple bloom? Pwweeeeese? I mean, I've just seen some Crossfire and 88 videos...that looks cool.

Correct me if I am wrong (and I know someone will), but the last time I checked Igiss' name is on this mod. He created Discovery did he not? So, if Igiss' decided to make Liberty Rheinland's significant other (think in prison terms) then he has that right. You do not have to agree or even like it, but you have to deal with it. I am sure that he and the dev team thought things out. Took some from some factions and gave to others. I think they wanted to shake things up and you know what? They did.

Even in life not everything goes well for you all the time. The rain falls on the just as well as the unjust. Show what kind of faction leader you can be and LEAD your faction!! Create situations that can benefit you and another faction. Ex...Hogosha and the UC. There are MANY ripe opportunities for both if they work together. And from some of the posts I have read here I think they have worked it out.

On another note. I know some have already mentioned Freeport 6 in Tau 29, but I am curious as to why it would even still be a zoner base? I mean really, if most of Tau 29 belongs to Gallia and Gallia wants ALL ZONERS dead, I really cannot see Gallia letting them keep that base. I think Gallia would use it for their own purposes.

they are some of the strongest in sirius right now!

That would be cool...to players with a good comp.
That would be bad...to players with a weak comp.
The only thing I can think of which could be better is to increase the resolution of the Skybox...erm Spacebox.
On the other hand, that would lead to increased load-times.

@topic: As long as every faction become its motives clearly explained, then (most) of the <place-faction-here>-problems could be solved easily.

I'm interested in the story of the Zoners too. Will Freeport 6 become something like Gallias biggest border station? Or will it be unchanged, and just become a Zoner Capship for additional guard?
The most wrong move could be the entire removal of the Freeport from Tau-space, cuz every Merc, Freelancer and others passing Tau will need a free port like the Freeports (wooow, what a smart wordplay:crazy: ) to rest.
