Stuttgart Biergarten (currently in exile)

"Erm... ich do not know! Ich need to start small... how about a Salad?" Udo said, eyeing a large bag full of tasty vegtables, tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbage, lettuice, and onions.

Udo went over to the bag, turning on the oven to preheat. He then went and got out a big bowl to toss the salad, and then went and retrived a large knife to dice up the vegtables.

The sight of Udo with any instrument sharper then a mason jar is grounds for concern.

Karl picked up some carrots and turned toward Udo. This just happened to be the same time that Udo picked up the rather large knife. This caused Karl to shriek quickly and almost drop the carrots.

"Oh!" he said, "Udo, do be careful with that! Never point it at people, or anything that could even be argued to be 'alive'. Then just cut sort of like this."

Karl picked up a knife and began to demonstrate - quite a bit away from effective Udo+knife range.

"See, just do that," he said. "You're well on your way for a nice salad! The main course may be a bit more difficult though. Oh, how about some soup, too?"

"Round on me bartender!" Johannes said loudly as he strode through the door. "Today we celebrate that we are still alive!"

Johannes goes to clap the back of the men sitting around the tables...

"Of course!" Karl said as he stood in as bartender on Wenzel's night off.

"What happened out there anyway?" he asked as he began to pass out drinks.

Johannes took the beer and took a sip before answering joyously: "We managed to get a lot of our volk out of the Vierlande and your too!"

"SCRA provided the heavy firepower and we provided intelligence and fire support to make the break in go as smoothly as possible. We has Hans taken down, but he's gut."

Johannes downs the beer in one gulp.

"And now I'm just going forget everything for the next 24 hours."


... many hours later the party starts to get more emotional....


"You are sho gut fellowsh. Ich liebe du alles." is Johannes saying drunkenly.

"I hear Wesley is back!" Johannes said to the bar tender when he took the bar stool at the counter and continued "He certainly brings back memories. I heard this from one of our newest pilots, Frau Blume." *Heads turn towards Johannes.

"Easy guys. She's not exactly the farm wife material.", Johannes laughs and takes a sip of the beer the bartender have given him.

Flying under radar.

The routine festivities that occurred whenever a Synth Foods convoy was attacked. Eva Morgenrot, Karl and Linda Kuerbis, and several others sat around a large side table talking amongst themselves.

"Where is Udo?" Karl asked.

"Why now?" Linda asked him.

"I thought he said he'd be here. And I made him a sandwich because he had that sad look on his face," Karl answered, beginning to eat said sandwich.

At that point, Ludwig Hohenlohe walked in with a huge frown on his face. He walked right to the bar and asked Wenzel for a drink.

"Problems?" the bartender asked while handing him a large mug with an image of a Stuttgart farm on the side.

Ludwig nodded. "That last attack against Synth Foods severely injured my brother, Lutz. He's apparently been forced to work with them to pay for the farm..."

He took a big sip of his drink and continued, "It's all my fault! I should've stayed and helped and not come here. Or maybe I should have helped him come here, too? I don't know anymore!"

"What do you think?" he asked aloud.

"Ist dere Hot Coco?" Udo asked arbitrarily as he entered the Biergarten.

"Oh, Hallo dere!" He smiled, waving to everyone, especially Eva. "Haaai Frau Eva! Ich am alive again!"

Quickly, he ran to her and hugged, happy as can be now that he was no longer dead, and in the company of people who cared about him.

"Es ist almost Halloween! We should carve pumpkins, Ja? Und make Pumpkin Pie! Didn't herr Karl habe a recipe fur pumpkin pie? Where do we get pumpkins?"

"Oh, ja!" Karl said. "I have a great recipe for pumpkin pie! I'm not sure where to get any though."

Ludwig was still sad but said, "My family used to grow great pumpkins on Planet Stuttgart."
