giving Falcon 2 class 9's

i like the falcon better then the eagle, it turns better, it looks a bit better to IMO, and for selfish reasons just cause i'd pilot it, it'd be cool to see it's weapon mounts pimped out a bit so it could mount level 9's

currently it has
3 Class 8
2 Class 7
1 Class 4 Turret

now it'd be between the griffin (which has a pair of 9's) and the eagle, so i'm thinking swap the 2 class 7 guns for class 9 guns, probably make the turret class 5 too as per normal mkII's

i really cant see much detriment too it, it would become useful for pirate factions without their own ship line, and for trading factions and currently in the griffin-eagle civilian line, the LF is more powerful then the HF.

i'm sure everyone would still use roc's and eagles though, so it still wouldn't be used a lot and it's definitely no priority.

just be like "no" if it's a dumb idea or maybe you like the falcon too, in that case say something else

Yeah, an upgraded Falcon would be nice. Its an HF, the civillians only have an "upgrade" version of Hawk, since eagle is already sufficient VHF. an upgraded HF similar to Paladin or Switchblade/Stileto would be nice.

true kingfisher does look nice, but is only sold on manhattan, so it's a bit harder to use it as an unlawful ship.
also needs a tiny love to it's turning

2; rename current Griffin to "Kestrel" or some small bird

3; make a new fighter according to your requested specs, call it the Griffin, and use my proposed Griffin model for it.

If you think about it, it makes sense given that a Griffin as a creature is a supreme balance of agility, speed, and power. not a tiny but ultra-fast package like the current 'Griffin' fighter.

though i'm kinda against more and more ships, i was just meaning to buff the basic falcon, as it would be a quick chang of a few numbers in an .ini (i think)
and honestly, i really think you've done a good job on that model AS A LF. it looks like one sorry and i think it would be great to replace the griffin.... call it what you want though!

Since i love heavy fighters, i totally second this. The falcon, as it is now, hasn't any use at all besides of being a ship for faction recruits or players setting up. If it gets buffed, maybe it will get some more love? I would fly one. Definetely.

They made an Mk2 Stiletto, so I'm surprised they didn't make an Mk2 Falcon. Not that many people fly HFs though.
I think I enjoyed flying my Stiletto in 4.84 more than my Switchblade in 4.85 though xD

Similar stats to the Agama would be good.

Perhaps two 9 slots and four 8.

Personally i hate the eagle design, it just has too much on it. The Falcon is just right.
