Hello there. My name is Nathan Sparks, but you can call me Sparky informally as many others do. I am a young pilot who would like to enlist into the Mining division of IMG. I assume you would like to know some more about me before I continue.

I was born into a middle class family on the planet Houston in the Texas system. Like many of my relatives, academia was in my future, so after graduating high school, I attended the small but accredited Liberty College of Engineering on Planet Manhattan. Of course, once hard times fell on me and my family, I was unable to pay my way through and had to postpone my education. Now, as a 21-year old ex-college student, I am searching for a way to get back on the horse, so to speak.

Once the economic struggle began around the system, talk on campus brought my attention to your organization. I had heard about your great progress even in difficult times, and being a logical thinker, I figured that mining will always be needed in certain areas for certain materials. This means a possible steady flow of credits which doesn't sound bad at all for a person in my predicament.

In case you are wondering, I won't be working for you just until I receive enough credits in order to go back to school. I have been wanting a break from academics for awhile anyways so I will plan on staying with IMG for a good while before making my next move, given that you allow me the opportunity to join your ranks.

Sorry about that nonsense, my horrible...piece of....oh bother, salvager. It is so useless. Anyways, I have sent this recording to the IMG, the Independant Miners Guild. I actually want to join this guild, I am a junker miner, mining scrap making no money whatsoever. It is also VERY boring in Pittsburg, occasional Rogue attacks but, no fun, THey don't come to Pittsburg. :|

Anyways, I was born in Kusari, it was horrible where I was, the slums may I say at New Tokyo. After I was 18 I quickly left Kusari to head to Manhatten, I needed some income, so I decided I'd start mining for ahile, Pish! I havent even made enough money with this scrab to pay off my loan for this salvager! Pitiful, 230 Million credits, I'm lucky I haven't been shot by a loan shark.

I believe The IMG can be, friendly, as I have met only friendly people, you actually make decent profit. It could lets say also be maybe... an hrm. Friends to get away with? Sorry, I um, have bad language, I came form Kusari of course. Your purpose, to me it means you make money, and maybe get some excitement, I wish the same thing.

Me joining, I could help fulfill the IMG's puposes, and mine, which I have not REALLY figured out what my purposes are, I will concentrate on mostly mining, getting some income for the guild, and for me of course.

I was born to a family of local miners who farmed asteroids in Bering and Hudson and sold them in Texas. I was born on their largest miner and learned first-hand the responsibilities and skills needed to mine, fight, deal with traders, all the while fueling my love for space.

The Nomad War took my family from me and cast me out into space with their half-broken Rhino. I limped to Pennsylvania, sold the damn thing, and begin to work in a small newspaper firm after the war, saving little by little.
