Actually , I would just LOVE to see some more blockade runners. In EVE they were already awsome, but seeing as you cant cloak ships in FL ( or it wouldnt fit in the discoverse), double CMs and higher thrust speed would be the second best thing.

Give them 1500-2000 cargo , make them really small , double CMs and thrust speed as close to fighter speed as possible ( without making it unbalanced of course).

Make one for Junkers , pl0x ? We be smugglers after all:P

I was thinking if there was even one generic 'civilian' ship of this type, it would be nice. Junkers could certainly use it.

Well , if it was Junker it could be used by most unlawfulls. Just look at it from my side: It is highly unlikelly that a generic civilian line would produce trully unlawfull blockade runner, it would probably get the makers in trouble with the law after all. The next candidate would be the Pirate line , but that already has more ships than alot of the smaller factions in the game...

EDIT: Another candidate would be a new ship by the Slaver line. They need some moar luv too.

True, though I was thinking it could be marketed as a 'courier transport', with its faster speed and extra CM to make sure the goods arrive on time.

Slaver line would be a decent possibility, though I wouldn't want it to really be a ship designed for hauling slaves. That'd give it a bad reputation, just look at how many people think using the Slave Liner makes you a slaver.

"Courier Transport" sounds about right. Maybe if it gets in maybe we can make a more unlawfull variety.

So yeah , get someone to do it. Now I am interested in the concept D:

See my KS line thread, I've more or less decided to make them some sort of cargo/courrier ship and could be persuaded to do it to your proposed specs since my idea was already close.
Being a 'civilian' ish ship with a mean and durable attitude it fits what you are looking for. :)

It fits the stated purpose of the line too, an infocard something to the tune of;

"Like all KS ships, the Andacite courier was built for supreme durability and survivability.
To that end it sacrifices cargo space and armament for the sake of agility, speed, armor and countermeasure systems.

The ship was conceived as a new way of transporting valuable minerals through the lawless and dangerous routes from the mining sites of Sirius back to major processing stations.

Rather than have one or two vulnerable large transports, some corporations opt to use smaller swarms of Andacites; often in conjunction with fighter escort.
This has the added advantage that any piracy attempt must split its efforts between more ships and thus more of the goods make it through.

Ironically, while the ship was designed to be a valuable goods transport or secure courier, it also sees use by the very pirates it was designed to thwart.
Smugglers also find it to be a venerable blockade runner, and despite these facts its sale, like all KS ships, remains largely unrestricted."

Hmm, that is a good idea, Geeko, and I like the look of your KS replacements. A transport to go along with the shipline would be fitting, and if it was 'blockade runner' style that'd be awesome.

:D

I can certainly offer suggestions, but in the end its the Devs who decide on ship stats.
