You miss an important point. In RP the other houses rely on products from Rheinland. It does not matter if that are diamonds, ship hull panels, engine components, MOX, ... the list is long. IN RP, dear trader, you need Rheinland. So stop saying that RP traders will avoid Rheinland. The 'RP traders' HAVE to come to us to get essential products. You theory is wrong, good sir.

we`re not trying to back you into a corner mate. You guys have given this a lot of thought. it`s commendable that you try to get Rheinland activity up. I`m all for it. but like I said: this is imho not the way to do it. you can hurl all kinds of theories at it all day long.
fact remains: people tend to trade for money. going to Rheinland now costs them money. solution: don`t go to Rheinland. go the the edgeworld or borderworlds. this will leave Rheinland emptyhanded with reagrds to credits as well as people.

Okay, here is our standpoint on gate/lane parts:
You are allowed to bring them in, if you are an official employee of Ageira or Deep Space Engineering. (ID+IFF)
If not, we will tirn the transport around, because the parts are counterfeit then. (Read the inforcard to understand.)
Currently we are talking about the possibility to exclude Ageira/DSE from the taxes, when they bring in the parts. Malexa will tell you the final decision, when it is ready.
Ship hull panels are manufactured on leeds,
Engine components can be bought from the zoners or liberty,
MOX is manufactured almost exclusively on LD-14 (so in actual fact, you have to come to us)
Diamonds can be bought from the hessians (yes, hessians)
Before the taxes, coorps werent allowed to cross the border at all, now they may for a small tax.
Its not as good as opening the trade totaly again, but its a start.
So coorp trader can use some of the good runs again.
And if there are RM pilots around and take a 200.000 Tax from you, it also means there wont be any pirates in the same system, takeing 2.000.000 Ransom from you.

What about the omegas?
We get taxed for taking engines to southampton in stuttgart or new berlin, then get taxed again by the OPG in o3, and if we are unlucky, o7 as well.
Also, if the RM are buisy taxing traders, that means they are not buisy killing pirates, who will then tax you later.
