Regarding the issue of the cooling unit on the 4850 looqas. The dual-slot cooler offered by XFX (and others) is great for stock, keeps the temps down far better than the OEM single slot that shipped with a lot of cards. Arguably though there are better after market solutions.

Gonna be getting a 500GB SATA II at some point, how can I transfer both drives on to the new one without a reinstall of windows etc
making an image of the HD using some clone software. I'm sure people have a lot of suggestions, since I know of only one, Norton Ghost, and it costs money.
@ turkish. Yeah. Those are the ones I've been looking out for in case I shell a bit more than the price for 4770. But the price is unfortunately a bit more pricey here in Finland. I haven't been able to find the 4850 with dual slot cooler/or after market cooler that I'd like to pay the extra for. That's why 4770 looks such a sweet deal.
Depending on the manufacturer of the HDD, some offer free utilities that allow you to clone an old drive to a new one.
After that you can simply transfer all your stored data on the other hdd to the new one which should solve that problem, if in doubt, check the manufacturer's website for information.
