Oh wait no, screw that il just give up on my Zoner and get a 5k corp one instead so I can continue to make big money hehehehe ^.^
POWER TRADERS UNITE!
You can NOT stop us!
Rain, snow, sleet or shine!
We will power trade 'till the end of time!

I'm sure you're happy that Zoner population will be reduced to a fraction of what it was. Those Zoners that will remain are those that have always been true to Zoner RP and their gaming is now seriously handicapped.
Half of the Omegas/Omicrons are dead now as a result of Zoner trade routes being eliminated. O-49 is ghost town due to the field disappearing and the Organ-Deut run losing 30% profit. Zoners used to carry goods from Zoner stations to House stations and bring goods back to Freeports. Now that can't be done with Zone Guard IDs and those routes that remain between Freeports have become rather useless when you compare the profit that House Corp routes make.
They'll move to the correct factions. 5k powertraders should be big corporations such as, say, Universal Shipping. They shouldn't be Freelancers and they shouldn't be Zoners (which are effectively the same thing). Zoners doing this robbed lots of pirate factions, such as LWB and the Gaians of their primary corporate targets such as Synth Foods and Planetform.
The Omegas and Omicrons were never meant to be as busy as New York. They're meant to be wild, with small stations, the ass end of nowhere, and hella dangerous, not full of trains.
Zoners didn't used to carry goods from Zoner stations to house bases, at least not in vanilla. They rented passers-by rooms as a sort of motel truck stop, and sold food to Corsairs and supplies to Outcasts. You didn't get Zoners in the houses. At all. Zoners left the Houses for an admittedly difficult life out in the zone, without House rules bothering them. If they hated the increasingly authoritarian houses' rules so much that they left, why would they repeatedly go back?

BURN!
Seriously though, blunty is dead on. Thank you bluntpencil.
Also I can already see the flood of "Zoner Whale For Sale!!" in the ship sales section. And somehow I don't see there being any interested parties. Tell you what, I'll gladly offer 10 million for one. I'm sure I can find some RP for it. Yes I know, the poor ship has never been RP'd in and it will be difficult for it to adjust.. But don't worry, I'll be gentle, ease her in nicely.

/Signed,
I got a Zoner whale, and my route was perfectly within -unstanderd- rp, (I haven't checked if something changed yet on the route)
Yeah, a powertrading corp trader doesn't benefit corporation RP any more than a powertrading zoner trader benefits zoner rp. But the corp trader helps out the pirate factions. The only faction that was pirating organs-deut was corsairs, and rampant corsair-zoner piracy isn't even something that should have really been happening.
I'm not happy about this change so much because I run a corp faction, but because I have 8 pirate characters.
I play a Zoner, so I don't care about the new restrictions I just learned about...I'll just adapt to the new reality & keep what I got & like it, cause a real Zoner wouldn't change teams when his/her meal ticket goes south:yu:
