I'd suggest applying later when he has returned... and before you ask, no I am afraid I don't know when that will be... and no I can't get a message to him... But if you would like to wait, I am sure there is a hotel around here somewhere, or a hostel. I might recommend getting a bite to eat, it could be awhile."

Katz inclined his head, and quickly departed to avoid any more questions. He was a busy man.

After receiving this news, James stared at the man once again. He thought to himself, "Who the hell was I just talking to then? Oh well, I am sure this man can relay the information if needed." James scrawled on a bit of paper he had in his pocket. He continued talking to the still intensely staring man.

"I apologize sir. I see that I have entered the wrong room and wasted your precious time. If you could tell the commissar my story when he returns I would appreciate it. If you cannot be bothered, however, this is where I am staying. I will be there for as long as I am welcome. Someday I hope to meet you again as a brother."

James placed the piece of paper on the man's desk. He gave a quick salute and exited the room.

A Confident young man began to ascend the steps that led to the recruitment offices. As he slowly ascended the metal staircase, he began to reflect on all that went into getting him here. "The Glorious Red Banner" He thought silently...he was truly grateful to be here...even if it meant his death, as the Commisar's reputation preceded him. Upon entering the offices, he was shocked to find them almost completely bare...not a soul was in sight, save the receptionist robots. After being seated in one of the steel chairs seeming randomly spread about, he began to study the room. Harsh, Cold...un-inviting. Unlike others he did not look upon it with disdain, he rather liked such a setting. It reminded him of his station aboard the bare bones Hessian outpost deep in the Omegas. Toughened by war, disciplined by his masters, and as cold as they came, he sat completely still, not moving a muscle, as he awaited the summons. "Number 3" It was a welcome sound. Running his hand through his military-style buzz cut, he made his way to the door. ENTER! Unshaken, he proceeded to enter the room, and fulfill what he believed to be, his duty. "Sir! Recruit 3 Reporting Sir!" Herr Commisar swiveled in his chair, contemplating his next move. "What do you want boy?" His voice made certain that the young potential recruit had probably ended his young life by entering the recruitment office. Unshaken, the recruit proceeded to explain his intentions. "Sir! this recruit wants to become a soldier of the Revolution Herr Commisar Sir!" [i] Herr Commisar paused, as though contemplating a creative way in which to kill such a one. Undeterred, Recruit 3 maintained his excellent military posture, awaiting the reply of Herr Commisar.

Grigory Breznev of the fighter corps was on his way to his fighter in the hangar bay when he passed by the sight of a person shouting very loudly while being carried away by two Coalition Marines. Grigory thought to himself "Another person did not read the sign. Shame for him to go. If only people could learn how to read." Grigory did note that they were on the way to the airlock. "Who am I" the Android asked, a man seeped into the androids view and said " you are Android Black Venom" and then walked away. Another one of them shouted "Staring Nexus memory Download he pressed a switch then there was a soft hum.*Memory Download complete* *beep beep beep!* Android Black Venom asked "Why Venom he dont want to be named after poison" A black skinned man who seemed to be in charge exclaimed because you will be part of the mixture, that will corrupt the alliance one way or another. Oh and by the way you can remember me as the Commissar"

As the Android reluctantly strolled into the briefing room he was amazed to see so many androids and cyborgs much like himself.
Right robots Im the commissar and you are my servants, you are part of the coalition you were all constructed to kill the alliance A golden and silver robot from the back said who are the alliance? they are our sole enemys and have been for more than one hundred years, they are the same scum who now have many thousands of our troops in their torture chambers Replied the commissar.

Now all Cyborgs and android silvers purples and gold go through that exit a robot said pointing towards a pressurized door and all android blacks follow me! Android black walked through a small hatch and was surprised to find himself inside a gun boat and the captains chair had his name on it.

Im sure you know how to fly this so I will leave you to get acquainted with each other announced the robot as he hovered out of the ship. Another android walked up to him and said hi Im Android Black viper but you can call me viper whats your name?? He asked the captain.
My name is Android Black Venom but you will call me captain or sir are we clear???

Oh and them two are Vice and Virus he said pointing at the other two who were in a deep conversation Im the weapons and engines master them two well they just mind their own business.
Get this ship up and running weve just received transmission that an elite squadron of alliance ships are attacking the Pluto planetary mining station, we need to take them out permanently Venom ordered Aye aye Sir!! They all replied with vigor releasing docking clamps shouted Virus there was a loud hiss as the docking clamps de-pressurized and the mighty gun boat lumbered out of the docking bay towards the Pluto planetary mining station. The hyper space engines roared into life and Blasted off into the Pluto section

As the ship came out of hyper space and turned the impulse up to full Virus Venom Viper and Vice could not believe what they saw the robust mining station was crumbling to dust in the Pluto debris field and seven alliance bombers firing there antimatter torpedoes at the remains of the station.
Lock all missiles on bombers one six and four! Commanded Venom

Ready the particle cannons and prepare to fire on the remaining four on my command! said Venom
Err sir I think theyve found us groaned Vice. As the bombers changed course and charged towards the gunboat. Fire! screamed Venom. Fiery projectiles and lasers flew in every direction two of the fired missiles missed the other bombers werent so lucky. After a few consecutive bangs only two bombers remained. The ship rumbled and quaked as the bombers payloads hit!

Android Black Venom woke with a start his LED eyes flicked on the was a loud noise he realized it was an alarm.

He raced towards his gun boat finding his three cybernetic counter parts already waiting for him captain on deck! Virus exclaimed "at ease Replied Venom get this ship up and running quickly aye aye sir!they replied sternly as the Storm class gunboat whirred into life and lumbered out of the docking bay it was hit by a huge mass of anti-matter weaponry. Then all hell broke loose.. Alliance ships uncloaked and fired upon the coalition station explosions were everywhere the sound of razors and mortars flying in every direction the beams of tachyon and plasma were seemingly endless!!!

***Batteries at 40% warned Venoms internal computer***

They flew in every direction killing alliance light fighters left and right. Suddenly something inside Venoms interior nexus clicked like a long forgotten memory then he said take this ship to the alliance launch site in the Jupiter section

Take us there now! Are we clear??? Crystal replied Viper engaging hyper space in t-minus 10 seconds 9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,0 the engines roared into life and the ship blasted off

Crystal replied Viper launching shoot prepare to board *beep boarding shoot opened you may now board the vessel*..........Inside the sleeper ship a human might say it was creepy but such things did not affect Android Black he raced towards the bridge passing hundreds of dormant humans in stasis. ***Batteries at 10%***

He said this in a dumb way as to improvise that he was superior. Android black jumped to his feet and grabbed the pathetic Junker by his neck and lifted him off the ground.

Commissar-Commander Katz looks up from the desk at the pair of people who had barged into his office, not bothering to read the plaque on the door, or even stop to talk to Alicia, his Personal Assistant who was rapidly yelling into a Growler phone for Marine support units.

Katz sighed as he closed a folder and stood up, popping his uniform cap on his head.

"Wrong office, I'm not *that* Commissar. You want the recruiting Commissar..." He held up a hand to stay the two marines who stormed into the outer office, assualt rifles up and at the ready.

Like well trained men they were, they held at the Commissar's gesture.

"Our recuritment is currently closed at this time," Katz said politely coming around his desk. "And I don't know when it is going to be reopened, however..." he reached into his desk and produces a small card that read "BEN WARNER - Pacifica" "Find this man out in the Bering System, talk to him and he might be able to test your skills and see if you are Coalition material. I am sorry but it is the best I can do..."

He smiles broadly, "Alternately, if you wish to help the Coalition further its goals, then simply go out and document injustice out there, exploitation, and keep your ears open for any information that could be useful. I am always looking for good agents who are capable and intelligent... though..." he chuckled and glanced at the door plaque. "Reading might be a skill you want to pick up."

He tips his cap and motions towards the door, "If you would be so kind, I am a little busy, and those Marines become a little trigger happy if they think you don't understand me. Return again when recruitment is reopened."

He watched them go, turning to Alicia.

"Ok I want a fifty foot banner put up outside the recruitment office saying CLOSED."

Alicia smiled and nodded, "Yes Commissar Katz."

"And for the love of god find me a mug of coffee," Katz muttured walking back into the pokey office, tring to find a cigarette.

Sergey Litvenko entered the recruiting office on Zvezdny Gorodok. Snapping a salute to the Duty-Commissar he stood in front of the desk.

"Commissar I present myself, Sergey Litvenko, born 800AS here on this station. My father served for a long time with the Revolution, he fought and died for our ideals. Now, it is time for me to do the same. No more a child I give my life for the revolution to do with as it sees fit.

"My childhood has been filled with the glories of the Revolution, but I am no fool, I know it will be hard, I understand that a soldiers work is never done. I understand , also, that the standard issue kit for a new recruit is somewhat akin to being wrapped in a paper towel and flung out of the airlock with nothing but a flashlight. I accept this.

"From this day forth I wish to pledge myself to fighting for our ideals, to spread the glorious Coalition message to the entirety of Sirius. If that requires making examples of them, then so be it. "

Sergey relaxed, just a little. But before he could relax too much, the Commissar's look made Sergey straighten up.

Inside he was quaking, he had waited for this moment for most of the life he could remember. His father had always glorified the coalition army. what it did, and the victories it had won, although Sergey understood that if his father had been right then the Coalition would own Sirius. Nevertheless the goal was to own Sirius and even if his father had failed to be a part of a Coalition army that had achieved that goal, Sergey was determined to fulfill his father's wishes.
