Mostly because I'll be able to come back into the system sooner for more RP and fun after my RP has failed to prevent conflict and my mediocre PVP skills have once again let me down.

Personally I'm hoping this will lead to less people hiding in their big, 'safe', cap8-armored battleships and more people willingly going about their business in something much much smaller. I mean, if you're gonna end up getting yourself PVP-killed, do it with a little style.
Worst case scenario? The system, which I'd like to refer to as 'Arkham Asylum', flooded with lolboats. Wave after wave of tireless lolboats. Wave after wave. Wave after wave.

"I'll be back in four hours!" shouted the Rheinland battleship captain as his ship went up in flames in the Texas system.
"Umm... sir?" timidly questioned the XO. "Advances in our already prodigious construction techniques have halved the time. We can be back in two hours."
Personally i think this was a VERY bad idea, i can already see this being abused by our good friends the "lolwutters".
Wutter: NUU! I'm DEED!!! But ah'll be bak in 2 hrs! *insert weird laughing here*
Serious RPer: Hans! What is the deranged captain saying?
Rper's Sidekick: I have no idea sir! I think he's attempting to convey he will be back in Two Hours...But that's not likely since we already blew up his Battleship. Even Rheinland Engineers cannot build another in Two hours.
Serious RPer: I see, thank you Hans, we shall log this as a possible case of "Pilot's Disease".
Firstly, Rheinland Engineers CAN build it in 2 hours!
As for the rest, i think its kind of ok, i alwaysed used to log off that char after death or escape and change the sceenery, but then you think, hey how about playing that char *looks to the watch* oh not bad idea, no 4 hours gone.
And beeing back as soon as possible is easy, just go to the next system and wait, until your killer has left (will happen in less than 2 hours most of the times), so not problem there either.
