Well, if you are talking about fighters guns, than Inferno & minirazor were more effective than these guns. As for debilators, they waste less energy & their speed are 650-750 m/s. Much better than 350.

I concurr - BUT Cannon and I just discovered that the update in fact has NOT reverted the Sur file.
A Mako hitbox with the erroneous part removed will be submitted to Cannon later today.

Short question, because I'm not at home and can't check.
Does cruise speed drain the entire plant dry? If that is so, will transports be unable to drop countermeasures while cruising?

yes -t hey drain them 100% dry - so, no you cannot drop a CM while cruising

Well, not 100% dry, more like 99.99%. 100% is bad because your cruise engine needs a little power and without power you stop. You have something like 20 units of power; enough to run the cruise engines and drop CMs.

That's intentional. It stops capships and others from cruising to a fight, Ek-ing and then firing while moving at 350ms, thereby having their guns get an exrta 350ms speed to them. It was easily abused by battleships shooting fighters and bombers with their primary turrets which were then firing at the speed of secondaries. Now they can't EK into a fight while shooting. They have to stop and recharge first. Basically just a cruising in mid-fight abuse deterrent.

Mini-razor and Infernos are fighter torpedo weapons, not fighter guns. Debilitators waste less energy, yes. But you had to fire for a long time to get them to do damage, thereby staying close enough for the capship to get you. Bomber guns you can make quick passes, do a lot of damage, then get back to range before getting Solaris-raped. Also the 650-750 speed change was necessary to stop bombers from being jack-of-all-trades ships and killing VHFs. That speed reduction doesn't affect their ability to hit cruisers and BSs. Gunboats can dodge them somewhat, but the bomber guns are also extremely effective at stripping GB shields if you get close. Bombers can solo GBs much more easily now. Dieter and I tested this with a Barghest. I took him out (Him in a Zoner GB with solaris, BRs, pulse, and missile) and used less than half my bots. And the ZGB is one of the better anti-bomber GBs because of its agility and shape, and the Barghest a huge target for those GBs to hit.

Thank you for changing the range of the BS pulses. Also, Thank you for "nerfing" the bomber guns... as they were bit to overpowered having 4 refire (2 bombers can kill a BS shield with just guns)

Also, New ID changes is great. yet to see the update for the trading, but im looking forward to it.

There is no more good trade links between Gamma and Eta (I used to get nukes from Crete for Etna).

The corsairs are still unable to open a trade with the rogues cause of ninja rep (Black Market Munition to Mc Murray and softwares to Fes). I guess it will be unbelievable the corsairs get docking rights with the xenos (Ouray need some BMM too). So we have still no exportations of our BMM. That's bad.

My corsair powertrader is no more a powertrader:(


For the cruiser solaris ... I say it's a win !
