Too long. About 25 months now.

2- What made you come play on Discovery?
Played the demo. Liked it. Got the game. Loved it. Searched for Freelancer mods. Found Disco. Been here ever since.

3- What other characters do you have on the Discovery server?
Do I have to list them all? It'd take me several hours just to remember them all.

4- What OOC reason do you have for joining the MM ?

The Mandalore himself walked into the recruit trainee barracks and strode up to the duty officer, who saluted, surprised.

He was brief.

"A new recruit, Francis Bowman, is coming in today, from Bretonia. He is to be assigned to Operation Kenvir Nen Caer." He handed some documents to the duty officer.

The duty officer frowned. "This man has not been through the usual channels. Is there anything I need to know?"

The Mandalore was again brief, even to the point of rudeness. "No. There is absolutely nothing you need to know, and if anyone asks, he DID come through the usual channels. Clear?"

The duty officer gave his obedience and the Mandalore, satisfied, simply walked away.

A short lean man walked sharply into the Barracks. He passed the secretaries and walked straight to the officer, saluted and announced:
"Karl Mannheim, reporting for assignment."

The officer looked surprised for a moment, then looked in the papers:
"Blake, you say? Let me see... Ah, here it is. From the Bounty Hunters Guild, are you? Being a Mandalorian is a bit different. Our clients are ... more varied. Why did you decide to become a Mandalorian?"

"Well, the Mandalore thought I should try working for your team. I thought my talents are deserving of a better appreciation than what I could ever get in the Guild."

"Oh, the Mandalore ... of course."

About one and a half year ago.

2- What made you come play on Discovery?
I was looking for a mod when I reinstalled FL after a year, I stumbled upon Disco. I played OpenSP, then noticed a link to the forum ... I spent a few days reading the forum and I was so excited about it, that I created my first char on the server.

3- What other characters do you have on the Discovery server?
A lot of them. I counted them recently:
3 Transports, about 11 Fighters, 6 Bombers and 2 Gunboats. I also have a Destroyer in theory. Most of my characters are listed in my forum profile.

4- What OOC reason do you have for joining the MM ?
Dieter invited me a LONG time ago and now I decided to go for it.

"Mr Mannheim", he said, "You do realize that on occasion we have cause to fight with Outcasts? We have clients, er, up in Alpha.."

"Does that present any kind of problem for you?"

"Of course not. Business is business. I don't have anything personal against them. Just between us, I'll be rather glad to be on the same side of the fence this time. The Outcasts are almost scary sometimes. I don't know what Cardamine does to people, but it sure doesn't harm piloting skills."
