Maybe allow them to a guard ID and restrict the ZOI a bit.. Other than that great design. I like it

I think the Unioner Guard can only use them. Same with the Gaians.


That is an excellent model. It looks a bit long, though. Will it have a forward gun? How many turrets?

I suggest shortening it a bit.

looks RM-built vessel... it even have an engine configuration that looks a bit like the SHF one in larger proportions.

Wild guess from looking at the hardpoints in the pictures makes me thinking 8 guns, no FWG (remember, Igiss has something against them).
It has the looks of a heavy one, but seeing the Unioners are former shipyard workers (or were), they might have made a kinda heavy, but maneuverable Gunboat.
However, i ask myself if the Unioners also get Gunboat turrets?

And if it is designed by people who have builded RM ships and civilian Rheinland ships, it can indeed look a bit RM-like methinks.

And like Argonaut said, they are those that constructed Rheinland ships for a long time so they should be able to build such a ship.

I don't want to rain on your parade but... Frozen has already made a Unioner Gunboat for next version. He had me texture it a couple of months ago.

Personally I think his looks better.

The one which i asked you to texture was modelled by Yue, not me Nighthawk- i only fixed the problems with the model and sent it to you to texture since i was running low on time to finish it. furthermore, that model was somewhat rejected by the unioners, hence them requesting (and using) a new model for a gunboat. Sycima's model seemed to fit into the requisites of the unioners, hence it becomes the new unioner gb, the other one is somewhere on my hard drive, but its not being used now.

i like it alot and i acturally don't think its needs to be sized down, there is such thing as the heavy gunboats any way. or you can just make it into a light cruiser
