I like the big liberty ship.....it looks so cool and looks like a Sub.

Discovery already have a albatross. Better to use this one you are developing as a new frigate for another faction, and with another name. What about a frigate for the Order? This ship fits with the Order, its brown like the Osiris. Maybe it can be a cruiser instead of a frigate. Also its similar to the huntress that is a corsair cruiser, and the corsairs trade technology with the Order.
Another liberty ship is not necessary. There are too many. Liberty have a frigate and two battleships. This model can be used as a mercenary frigate or battleship. I think theres already a cruiser for the BHG. The destroyer can be used as a research ship, if you put one or two radar turrets in it, and the battlecruiser can be a frigate for the BHG. Anyway keep the good work.

Good idea, The Order is a little low on ships. So that would be cool.

Wow! Very good! Have you made them all and submitted them? Or are most of them still in the basic stages. Whatever it is, they look very good.

Also, try and make a Junker salvage/combat ship, made from other ships all pieced together. (Yes, I know I have said this Idea before, but I want too see what people can come up with).

Basicly i hate all the non vanila ships, i want them out of disco, most of them are ready to be exported into the freelancer format, i was just wating till i could make sure they acually show up in game, i need to talk to igiss to determine how much of the ships he wants me to do (makeing infocards/stats/balanceing them myself), ill be sending off the albatross as soon as i hear from igiss, as per them looking liek star wars ships, star wasrs has had a significant enough impact on the world that its like complaining that the ship has engines in the back rather than the front, just get over it. well for now im off to get these ships outta gmax and into milkshape, o and if anyone sees igiss point him my way.

Most of these ships may have the look or feel of star wars ships, but the thing is is that they are not directly taken from star wars and put into the game. All of these ships he has done here look like they could really fit into to Freelancer feel. Commendable Job Mate.

There is the small matter of copyright on models imported from other games and re-made from TV/movies etc. Yes, it still applies to free mods - an intellectual property is an intellectual property. Can't see anyone prosecuting, but that doesn't make it legal.

And yes, most if not all the ships nicked from other places look out of place on FL.

Excellent ships here. I don't really think any of them look 'star wars'... SWishness is obviously in the eye of the beholder...:)Starwars ships tend to look like marine animals while FL ship tend to look like birds, often ones than have had some kind of accident... Reinland ships seem to be snail based. Great transport there- truly excellent.

@Vaporlinx: just a thought: converting your pics to JPEG before posting them would make them 10 times smaller without much reduction in quality... faster to view and my ADSL modem will stop glowing cherry red (though it's keeping the room nice and warm at the moment)...

wow, nice ships :cool:. but i would like to see some junkerships too :). old, rusty, damged, mixed parts from other ships, junkers style. maybe with some grafitti on the hull.
