Disconnecting immediately?

Since about 10 minutes ago, I disconnect IMMEDIATELY upon connection. There is no blinky red icon of DOOOOM, but I can't chat, can't dock, and can't damage anything. Is this me, or the entire server?

You see no red icon prolly since you havent activated the lag icon.

Being unable to dock or damage anything = red lag.

The server has been getting some pretty severe lag spikes, last hour or so, probably has to do with that.

I dont have it turned off AFAIk but I could be wrong.

I just tried logging on to my pirate in liberty and it worked fine. But of course my transport carrying 1K silver in new tokyo can't go 8K and dock with a station...

EDIT: Whatever the issue was, it seems to be done with now.

What have you added in your FL shortcut?

Lag icon is tuned off by default and you need to add -lag or something in your shortcut to be able to see it.

Possibly another mining/hauling anticheat error? I remember when people were getting killed and were completely innocent...

That's what mine says, and I've gone through all the steps, It just won't work for me :/

If it says that, you have exactly what it says - A bad installation of Freelancer and/or Discovery. Either due to corrupt files, or due to edited files.

Deactivate the Discovery mod with FLMM, remove the Discoovery mod from FLMM. Make a note of your account ID, Uninstall Freelancer, reboot, reinstall Freelancer, download a fresh copy of the Discovery mod, install it in FLMM (Make sure you use FLMM 1.3, not 1.4), activate the Discovery mod, start Freelancer, and let it update the Discovery mod, then go online with the saved account ID.
