Anyone have a reason as to why you guys should be there? Liberty isn't of your concern, and neither is Alaska really. So what the hell is everyone doing there! Gaah...

It's not like you guys can deliver artifacts to Alaska, and seriously it's a dangerous place that isn't in your ZOI. You shouldn't take caps to kill LN there either...

So please, unless there is a good reason to go there, corsairs shouldn't be there in the damn first place.

By no means at all, no Corsair should ever enter Alaska, it is completely OORP. The JH to Minor is (in RP) extremely heavily guarded, as is the whole system, the Corsairs have no need or reason to be there, not even assisting Order forces. It would be pointless for us to amass the very large ammount of firepower needed to breech the LN defenses just to throw it away when it could be used to massacre Outcasts/Hessians/BHG/Nomads/Bretonians/Rheinlanders/GMG/Anyone else that looks at us funny.

I agree, the Furious Absolution has seen Corsairs in alaska twice, each time, the justified rp has been shaky at best, the first time was when a bunch of corsair's where "defending" the jumphole to minor, we had a little bit of Rp with the order ships and then where threatened with destruction, BY THE CORSAIRS, However, i dont mind the corsair's as much as i do the traders and smugglers that offer very Little in the way of rp

But, i digress, the presence of corsairs in alaska, is shaky rp-wise at best, and if the come into to NY, well, i guess things get interesting, BUT i for one am interested to see where this goes rp wise,

Captain Hughes, however is getting VERY annoyed and Edgy about seeing Corsair cruisers Hanging around the new york gate, Explaining that away will be amusing

This whole thread is a bad idea.
And it is a trial by forum.

The corsairs I have seen in or near Liberty I generally ask over private channels to leave because they are way to far out of their ZOI as Corsairs to be there. Some of them play silly and say they're lost. Most of them are polite and leave after I explain things.

Not our fault as a whole. Don't blame the entire tree for a few bad apples? Every now and then we see something that is really OoRP. Just explain to them privately what they are doing and ask them to stop?

I am confident that any person regardless of affliation faction or IFF can fly anywhere at anytime. While the wisdom of such choices may be questionable, it's not entirely WRONG for a Corsair to be anywhere. They take a certain risk, depending on where they are and what they are doing, of course. It may be a bad idea. It may not be the "norm" but depending on the RP, it could be justified. If you need an example, the Keeper faction could cry foul each and every time someone entered IOTA, correct?

I'm not blind to the points being made here, folks... but really that was a REALLY WIDE brush that was being used in this thread and to my mind, it was unnecessary.

JMHO,

This will most likely get extremely messy and we've been over it a million times before. Corsairs shouldn't be in Alaska or Liberty unless smuggling artifacts (and they shouldn't be doing that via Alaska anyway as there's quicker profit taking it through rheinland).

I won't lock it yet, but seriously, if it gets out of hand it will have the offending posts deleted and will be locked.

Nope, shouldn't be there at all. Doesn't it even say on the ID that they can't enter Liberty space?
