So the main question I have is, does the Kusari Empire represent just Japan, or does it represent the other Asian countries as well. Before the exodus (not sure what the cannon term is) did Japan make a power grab throughout the Asian countries, consolidating them into the Japanese portion of the alliance? I notice none of the other Asian countries are ever mentioned. What about China and Korea? Were they absorbed by the Japanese empire previous to the war? Were they just left on Earth to die? I apologize if this is common knowledge, but I can't find the answer anywhere.

Was Korea? I can only assume if North Korea was on one side then South Korea was on the other. I actually know very little about the Coalition. Guess it's time to head to the wiki, huh?

I would assume the Koreans were left behind, along with quite a few other nations.

Remember that towards the later stages of the war, the entire Earth was under Coalition control, with the Alliance reduced to it's off-world holdings. Other than the eight sleeper ships, nobody else got out.

Japan, Koreas, Siam/Thailand,

And Respublica (The non Colaitional States of Central Europe - the First to Fight and First to be defeated. that Sleepership also includes Roma... I mean Romania)

The Consortium have a sort of Indo-Arabic-Canadian theme to them. And are conveniently specific to (invading) Kusari!

China is part of the the Coalition.

Korea might have gone with Liberty. But we don't know if it managed to Re-unify prior to the Coalition/Alliance war.
