Miguel signing in again. Wise and beautiful ??? Can be a bit of an old tart I hear, though a joy to watch in
that ship. Can teach the boys a thing or two about the art of destruction and deception I think.
Drag me out of my hacienda if you need me ... You know how to whistle, don't ya ?

Nightfall here, Basilo and me surprised a Brotherhood flight-group in Theta, looks like they were on course to Alpha. They have an excellent pilot there, Montoya is the name. I had a lot of trouble getting that Titan down look at my Sabre:

To honor the brave pilot I set course for the Prenta and ejected. I got a new Sabre from Malta.

Lope here, I have a report to make. Couple of days ago, I received a message from a Kursari pirate fighter in Gamma, why he was there is still unknown to me. He was tailed by a Huntress cruiser flown by one named Alaxander. A brotherhood member he was.
As I wanted my peace of The Brotherhood, I moved in to assist the pirate. When I came in range of Planet Crete, I found the Pirates, he was badly damage. I quickly moved in to assist. The Huntress was strong, there were many Corsair pilots around us, but we were able to keep our of firing range.
After a fierce battle the Cruiser was destroyed. The Pirate and I reported back to Freeport 9 for repairs. The zoners were very kind. But very expensive. I am going to need a loan:P
All for now
Rainerio out.

Gentlemen, I salute you both for your courage and dedication to cause of the Outcasts and their Guard.
Bernard, I believe you were involved in what may have been called a duel in times of old. Basilo was passing
messages to me during the prolonged fight till he had to take his leave. I felt my presence there was not a
necessity to uphold our honour.
I see I was right, any help needed to pay for your new craft, can come from my bank. This fight will enter into
legend, I suspect as the first of many. I wish Don Kristina was here to savour this.
Lope, as fearless as I have heard. Welcome to our ranks, a loan will be forthcoming for you to rebuild that fine
piece of Outcast engineering. You have become a perfect addition to our squadron.
This is a great day for the GoR, The Corsair Brotherhood will rue the day they decided to target us specifically.
May they die screaming in droves under our guns.

It was a duel, my friend, and a damn good one, worth mentioning among the greatest I had with Ember and Onyx and of course the great Blood Dragon aces Intoxication and Hotblack. I wouldn't accept any help, it was between me and Montoya, he issued a personal challenge to test my metal.
Think I do good with two guns less, maybe I start packing a missile launcher or two.

While patroling near Ibiza Station, me and Mr. Marron came across another Corsair attack patrols. After a lenghty fight, we destroyed the intrusive scum. Hopefully this is not going to repeat itself or we may have an Invasion on our hands. Quite an action packed first few days...
I have the pleasure to inform you that the 'Captana' is launched from the Outer Sanctum.
All systems are nominal and it will shortly be available as a support base of operations in Omicron-85.

Need to blow the cobwebs out me shooting sticks. Anything movin' in the wind ?
Bernard, good to hear the defence systems are coming online quickly. Looking forwards to seeing our new
premises first hand very soon. Be nice to have somewhere to call home finally.
Anyone heard from Don Kristina recently ? ... Miss the old girl.
