Why not just be a Miner ID'd, Junker IFF'd Salvager. Seems a bit odd to be a Freelancer Junker, when you can go that already with a little RP magic.

No. Salvager is restricted to junker ID.

EDIT: Yes, it is sanctionable as far as I know, the Salvager's infocard states that it is not seen outside of junker use.

still mean sit cant be used by non-junkers without special request, same as ships like the blood dragon fighters/caps which all say something similar in their infocards.
