Well, since Cryer is making a Cardi substitute, don't you think the Outcasts should try and hit their stations?
What I propose is: A group of Cryer ships clustered around a research "Station" with LN/LPI escorts. A group of Outcast ships will infiltrate Liberty and attack this research position.
What I was thinking of for balance:
Cryer would have 3-4 transports, plus one Cruiser/Gunboat to act as the central research body. Then three or four Liberty Navy fighters.
[color=orange]Outcasts would have around 2-3 bombers plus four fighter escort.
The goal of the Outcasts would be to completely wipe out the Cryer research facility. Once the Outcasts arrive, the station would fight tooth and nail to beat them off. Indies for either side would not be welcome, because instantly, capital ships would swarm the site.
I would be willing to develop this further should it get support.
You are suggesting to use a ship as a 'base'? Interesting idea, however, it's quite a long way from any of the outcast's own bases to be launches a full station attack. I mean, they can't destroy atka in the edge worlds where Cryer has no house support, how would they destroy a station in Liberty, lightyears from their origins? This would possibly make more sense in Sigma 17 or 19, with GMG's or bounty hunter involvement aswell. Cryer does have some of it's own fighter vessels mind you.
The idea of a cruiser was not as a military vessel, but rather a mobile research station, or "Science Cruiser" and this is still open and mallable. But it wouldn't be hard for Outcasts to worm in some fighters and bombers when New York is plagued by Tridentes.
Sigmas and Taus would also be an option, however. Yes, nerfing down the bomber amounts would be a better idea. 5 bombers could destroy even a battleship escort.
Attack a convoy inbound/outbound from Atka makes more sense, to be honest. This would be interesting, too. Drum up some Cryer activity, which could be used. *goes back to scheming the synth-weed Cryer subfaction*

Well if you want a science cruiser I can bring my Zoner Corvo around if that's what you're asking, I'd have to RP it into it being temporarily "rented out" to Cryer to serve as a mobile research base.
yeah we have that kusari explorer which is set up as a research vessel for basically this kind of thing.
also 3 bombers vs 4 transports = cloudfacing transports.
but yeah whatever. i'd like an event and we don't really have any crybabies in cryer* who would get upset over losing a fight. and i've been trying to organise some kind of interaction with the outcasts for a while.
