Sometimes, you have to be glad the server is down.

Anything I say is not intended as offensive, and to try and deliberately misinterpret it as such would be an attempt at trolling via misrepresentation.

It's not a conspiracy, it's localised bias. They're not intelligent enough to form a conspiracy.

alone. Now we never fly in packs less than five along with GBs and bombers along.

P.S. After that Gaffelt learned to never drop bots in space. xD
Ohhh that....

I was hoping to catch one of you alone via knocking out the lane after the 3rd had jumped. But I missed and had 2 of you with me. And then the other 2 came back. And I went. :wacko:But I asked for 1000 ore anyway. 250 from each of you. Hardly a dent in your profits. Instead, you lost 50% of your total haul. Bwahahahaha!

I am well and truly surprised that I got away, I had 1 CM left.

In any case, packs wont stop us if we have a pack. And gunboats won't slow us down. 1 fighter on the other hand, makes us miserable.

I began writing a reply to this thread, but in the end I felt it was more appropriate for a new thread: Immersion

*grabs notebook*

Reason number one billion not to go to Liberty: Admins&friends pirating playground.

*puts away notebook*

I'm glad you guys enjoyed such a thing, from the pictures it looks fun indeed. Still ,it looks somewhat weird to use a lawful corporations transport to pirate.. Doesn't matter much, I guess.

Oh, and please don't cut on the profits... Wait, I really don't care... Anyways, if the goal is to incentive escorts then cutting profits wouldn't help it at all...

Still, nice experiment overall

*plots to start a similar group*

What are you doing in a Merc Wyrm, when you should be doing REAL work in your KSP Wyrm?! Arrgrgarglebarg GET TO WORK! *cracks whip*

But about the mining profitability, I agree with taking it down a few notches. 20% sounds good, if not a bit more. Even with all the payments you have to make to escorts and mining-partners, it's still ultra-profitable--more than I think it should be. And yes, players really need to spread out from Pennsylvania. I'd suggest removing silver from it entirely, since it already has its platinum, and knocking down the sell-price on that, too. Maybe people will finally move out and discover Omega 7 then.

I've always said that the mining should be put in Minnesota or New Hampshire or one of those vaguely Liberty places no one ever goes. They're borderland systems under Liberty control, and chances are that there hasn't been enough time to mine them all out, as Liberty has a habit of doing.

New territory, new resources.
Pull people away from the starting system.

I mean, seriously. Putting anything into the starting system that makes people want to stay there is a bad bad bad idea, I now realize.

Put it somewhere no one goes.
Spread people out.
If we wanted to keep it closer, just move the platinum rings over to the planet in Ontario. That already sells refined platinum, it'd make sense.

But I'd really advocate moving further afield.
Maybe up into the Yukon or Alberta, or maybe over to Minnesota and New Hampshire.

I've never seen Minnesota / New Hampshire / Quebec . Ever.
No reason to.

How about we make a reason for people to go up there?

Not to hijack your theory but Penn is technically new territory.

Also Minnesota would have needed a lot of mod work. Which I do hope it gets someday.

Also, AJ, my goodness what an annoying post. Admins! Lawful ships;)!? Now watch as I do it!

Doc, not to burst yer bubble, but I actually see ships in NH occasionally. The system is small, making missions from the Battleship Whitefield quick and profitable. 's how I grind Navy Guard rep.

Retired, permanently.

Speaking of NH, we should have an LN vs. RM battle there. Maybe today?

Ya know, in real life, both sides don't agree on a time and date to have a battle and wait for the forces to be ready. They go in, shoot, conquer (or be killed).

You should have stayed active. see this is what sucks the most.
you guys make a fun group, head in and do the fun part.
then you drop it to die and its all gone.

such a shame, and I was looking forward to miners crying more.
don't lower the prices. I'll go mad.
