Keep the admiral age, 28. Its not normal in military, but in somecases, if the person would achieved such merit, being a 28 year admiral is normal.
You could now, start her age development, not changing her past but look at her future.

My characters have aged with the mod updates, and I would say it's fine to 'fast-age' a character if it's appropriate for the RP, as in the case of promotions. My order admiral is still quite young, and it was noted that she's the youngest person to ever serve on the high command or be promoted to admiral, but she's still in her 20's, and was born in the order (so, has served it essentially from birth).

If I want my characters to be older, I normally adjust the year they were born in their stories. Walter Layton is four years older then he was when I started the story, because I wanted him to be older.

And the same applies to any other character. If the creator of the character wants it to be younger or older, then he or she has the right to.

Also, good to see you back Malexa. I await meeting you in-game as Frederick Belz.

[17:45:39] Wolfs Ghost (Murphy): Tom, you have problems. Go kill yourself.
[19:25:12] Johnny (Jam): Tomtom, I will beat you with a spoon.
[14:22:56] Prarabdh Thakur: KILL HIM WITH A SHEEP.
[17:40:48] Eagle (Junes): Tom should be slapped with a spoon.
[11:32:18] Warspite: Thank you for being so awesome Tom. <3
[18:17:36] Metano: I love you tomtom
[20:06:24] Warspite: I will seriously give you epic head.

Hmm..:)well its a delicate thing hmm...

I believe one should age ones character. hehe were not immortal after all.

One doesn't always have to be the stereotypical mould for age and position but I think it sometimes help to keep age accurate yet I believe it should be left at the players discretion rather than forced upon them.

Age gives off various senses and feelings. E.g. the innocence of youth. The strong authority of the middle aged and the wisdom of the old. It really affects how some players interact with your character. In regards to admiral characters an age though:)my young countess regards Admiral Lord Nelson with great respect and authority kind of feel that natural aged authority feel like a mentor to be listened to. Um yea age I reckon is rather important.

:Dmy last thoughts are change it as you see fit to what feels best for you.

Quote:And pray to Igiss, that no 25-year-jump takes place.

:)nothing ever stopped someone from changing ones age to fit with the time line as I'm sure a lot of people would have to.

there you are my two cents

I'm passing through the forums, and your predicament caught my eye and mind. If I may offer my humble opinion:

When I found myself in your shoes, I made a new character. I personally never found it logical for an Admiral to lead his or her forces in a fighter, but often, that's the vessel of choice.

Now, I typically made a new character, often older with a colorful and decorated military history, and worked an angle from the forums and occasionally, when the capital ships were needed.

So, that too, is an alternative.

Keep Malexa Malte as a Squad Leader, and make a new character to lead the RM, and Rheinland.

Viel gluck, kanzler!

Actually Malexa if I were you, I would've created a whole new admiral, one who around 50, like a whole new character, and keep your original 18 Year old the rank she was or something (unless of course your going with a story of some sort).

I retconned my AU leader's History, since she's one of my very first characters, and was born in Gallia. Rather than making her an adventurous Junker, I made her a refugee, cuz ehr parents didn't want her to see the horrors of wars. It failed, of course.

I want to get off Mr. Igiss' wild ride.

Funnily enough, I just realised that my Molly Republic councillor is still nineteen.
Well... he's actually turning twenty in a month or so...
