X walks in slowly, looking around at the unusual traffic, making his way over to his usual spot in the corner. He sits, going over what appears to be a data-pad.
Unusual amount of people, and some rather new faces, correct?
Indeed...
His mechanical eyes rapidly rotate, scanning the environment.
I wonder who they are...
He returns to looking at the pad, glancing toward them once and a while, while still keeping his head down.
Djinn looked on as what appeared to be some sort of Cybernetic humanoid entered the bar, watching it carefully, quietly, she continued to sip at her drink.
"Hmr...not sure I've ever seen anything quite like that.."
X grunts, scrolling down the pad, muttering to himself...
"Faulty piece of crap..."
He throws it against the wall, shattering it on impact, the others in the general area immediately shifting their attention, he just growls at them, sitting back.
She said it more to herself than anyone else as she looked on at the scene before her, rather unamused.
"Angry men...always breaking their toys."
Again she spoke more to herself than anyone else, she then sighed softly and went back to drinking yet another glass of water that had been left in front of her.
X raises his head slightly, hearing parts of conversations from all around the room, dropping the front legs of the seat on the floor, watching more attentively...
There is something different about the people here....
Commander?
I dunno'. Just an aura I guess.
His eyes start to rotate again, scanning continuously.
"Huh, sure does pay attention alot too...Guess that's good, mean's he's not a mindless unintelligible brute.."
She laughed to herself and finished off the glass of water, glancing over to the Barmaid and nodding once to her, the Barmaid quickly replaced the empty glass with a new glass full of Vodka.
"Ahh, there we go, smart little girl you are, you learn fast too!"
Djinn laughed, loud enough for others to hear this time, as she began to down her Vodka.
The bar was filled with noise. And eyes. So many eyes. All watching. Thinking. Calculating.
But they won't watch me, they can't he mused as he walked in, taking a seat next to two very unscrupulous characters.
One of them wore what seemed like a cone shaped piece of sheet metal with a rifle that screamed, "I'M TRYING TO COMPENSATE!" He laughed on the inside. His training told him to convey no emotion. Emotion got you killed. Then why am I here? he thought. The second seemed like an old-Earth cowboy of some sort. His clothes were too red. It was disgusting
He was about six feet three inches in height, his jet black hair cut short and slicked back. A thin mouth sat emotionless on his face. His blue eyes were the only off part on his entire image. They were too blue, too noticeable. The plain gray uniform of the Order was neatly kept. Not a single crease. Tidiness was key. The Eye of Ra sat on a patch on his right shoulder.
He spoke as if to nothing, yet conveying importance, "I want a drink."
He then waited.
"THE HULL HAS BEEN BREACHED AND THESCIENCEIS LEAKING OUT!"
