"Yes, know what you mean...people I talk to usually end up dying as well," Shade replied casually, as if he was talking about the weather, "Shame really, but it seems to be in human nature."
This woman wasn't all that bad as he'd assumed, he realized.
He continued to whisper, "No clue about the kitten, though. But I guess one of these people around here might know. What're you planning to do with that kitten anyway?"
"I always wanted a pet kitty, I'd call him Kevin, but he has to be ginger and tiny", she stated, eyeing up the surroundings of the bar.
"This place reminds me of a bar near my old home, but it's smaller and quieter", Georgia drank some more, then glanced back at Djinn, "Her head will hurt when she comes to"
She go up and lifted Djinn's pretty head, placing her soft pouch underneath, to make her slumber more comfortable.
"There" she said satisfied, sitting back down opposite Shade.
Shade nodded, then whispered, "You seem rather playful for a criminal."
He tilted his head slightly, revealing communication equipment in his left ear. Hesitating slightly, he continued to whisper, "Sorry, seems one of my, err, special involuntary guests onboard my ship needs me. I'll be back in a while, though."
Shade got up with a polite nod, then walked out of the room without a further word.
This had been quite fascinating...he should see if she was still there by the time he'd return.
Still, guests came first, Shade thought, as he slowly removed his pistol from his belt and made his way to his ship.
"Harry, how long do we have before we need to re meet the Immortal Hunter?"
Harry checked his watch in silence.
"4 hours Siona." he said. He looked down at his drink, and smiled as he saw the ice cubes. Without a word she held the glass out to Siona, who smiled and picked up one, resting it lightly on her tongue.
"So the phantoms don't know the daughter of Salazar Kithe eh? Perhaps we should remind them..."
She let out a soft, low key groan as she fought with herself to get her eyes open. As she pulled her face off the table top, a loud sucking sound could be heard due to the fact that she was pulling her face out a now dry puddle of her own drool, as she became more aware of herself she began to scan the room.
"The hell...I fell asleep...here? What happened last night?..."
She reached up slowly and ran her hand over her cheek
"Ohooh...Gross!"
She groaned again and leaned back in the seat, staring dizzily at the ceiling.
She shook her head softly, taking a sip from the water and letting out another, softer groan.
"No...he slipped out ah...I don't even remember when he left..."
She groaned again and finished off her glass of water, letting out a relieved sigh as she did so. Boredly she began fingering the trigger guard of her rifle.
"I want to fly again...I need to hear people sing, this bar bores me.."
