Yay!
' Wrote:Well, I for one approve of this. With the climate in the Outcast and Corsair 'houses', there's bound to be SOME opposition to the current state of affairs. Given that previous attempts at such have been random lolwuts, this may spur a bit more depth in Outcast internal politics. Not to mention putting your base in the Sigmas will bring some sorely needed activity.
Well, that's the thing. Rudo gave us permission to use Yanagi on the sole condition that we would not advertise our presence around Yanagi or stir up trouble in its vicinity. Though, if we discover that cardi smugglers are in Sigmas, expect us to be there too.
' Wrote:One suggestion: You may want to, aside from the usual stuff, try to peacefully preach Hispanian unity to whoever will listen, and dissuade conflict in general (assuming you don't do this already.)
That's one of our core methods.
' Wrote:Diplomacy wise, I speak for the Consortium. We're not going to go out of our way to attack you as long as our transports and allies (GC + Dragons) are let be. We wouldn't gain anything from it.
But if the opportunity presents itself, you will attack? Also, we'll let your transports be if you make some arrangement to us or don't carry things we find useful.
' Wrote:3rd new pirate faction.. TODAY. Weird a bit.
I must admit, my head spun when I saw that a faction eerily similar to the one I've been working on for over a month suddenly sprung up. Nothing I can do about that though.

We probably wouldn't differentiate between you and normal Outcasts. And even if we did, the Consortium never really fight anyone or anything they don't have to. If you attack us, we'll retaliate. Same as anyone really.
As for supplies, most of what we haul from Malta is war materiel. Weather you attack it or we make some kind of agreement is to be decided by RP later on. But we tend to avoid unnecessary conflict in general.

Kudos i on the story.
Yay! Again, that's just the cliffnotes. The story will come, the story will come...

Well, we're sort of all about avoiding unnecessary conflict, so... yay? But all the same, we need war materials and cardamine to survive out here.
Well personally I think it's a pretty cool idea, rather nifty too.
I've always wondered why nobody from the Corsairs or Outcasts always stepped up to try to unify the two, and it's pretty cool to see a group out there with that in mind now.
However, your rank structure seems a little odd to me, 'Junior Diplomat' as a combat rank?
Or rather, I would expect to see ranks called "Junior Diplomat" and "Senior Diplomat" at the top of the rank structure.
But that's just a small gripe I suppose, it just makes more sense to me.
In general though, I think the premise on which the group was founded, and the roleplay that will hopefully be seen coming with it, is a good idea.
Query: Relations with the Nomads? I may have asked this already, but I didn't see it so I'm curious. Will you follow the Outcast idea of "Great Spirits" and let them be/help them, or reject that tradition? How do you expect the Nomads to interact with you?

I agree.

Well, see, we don't consider ourselves a military organization, which is why we don't have any expressly military ranks.

We have no official stance on their divinity, as we are not a religious organization. However, we are generally neither trusting nor hostile to these beings.
I would expect the Nomads to interact with us like anyone else with the orange blood.
I saw one of your members on earlier. You talked about this with me over Skype as well. I like the premise. It brings unity to the Hispania nation and will make a very good faction.
I approve.
