Something I don't really understand

Hello everyone!

My problem is in Dublin. I don't really get it how NPC patrols are so freaking strong. I was mining in Dublin, near the Omega-49 jumphole , when 3 centurions came along and almost blasted my Hegemon to bits. On the other hand, in Leeds or New London, they can barely scratch my shield. So cut my legs and call me shorty if I understand this. However it's quite anoying. Any suggestions what sould I do ?

What should you do...avoid the ships?

Omega 49 is home to lots of Corsair activity so there are high level titans that fly in that system. I don't understand how these Centurions you said were so powerful, but my guess is that it has something to do with the fact you are by the omega 49 hole and the devs boosted the corsairs toughness there. Lots of people are discussing the imbalance of NPCs throughout the game you are not alone

The thing is that I've just tried on the other side of the system, in the other new field added for the mining system, but it's the same ... centurions shooting my ass off in a hegemon ... so I'm honestly out of ideas ...

The 35k/50k shield is better for 'real' pirates. 100k shield is good for NPCs, I guess.

two mining turrets on a hegemon is more than enough to mine. I don't understand why you people insist on having 10 mining turrets.

replace the last eight turrets in the queue with transport solaris (for NPCs they work well) or transport primaries and quit bitching about NPCs.
