Alright, dear members of DiscoveryGC. We need your opinion about fresh Naming conventions. This is the thing that concerns us. Implosion or, as last resort, me shall explain you how and why we decided to implement this idea. Feel free to post.
Note: For those, who are reading main document for first time, I suggest reading it completely.
Hi, I'll write more tomorrow when I'm less tired, but here's something for now.
Firstly, see here, and consider popping me a PM with your skype names.

I really like using callsigns instead of real names, and also having undercover and civilian ships. I do both myself, and it's great fun. After all, a large part of our role-play relies on stealth and deception. To that end, I would recommend removing the [UC] tags for at least the undercover/civilian ships, possibly all of them. It works very well for other stealthy factions.
Um, what else?
I tend to dislike complex ranking systems, especially for non-military factions. From an OORP standpoint, you only need three or four ranks such as: Recruit, Member, Leaders, Head Leader. Giving in-RP titles is great, such as Smuggling Boss, Hitman etc.
Also, my UC chap's diplomacy is a little bit different to yours, in how he regards the Royal Navy and the Council. I wouldn't have the Royal Navy as "shoot on sight" myself, more like "avoid unless absolutely necessary". We're not terrorists or revolutionaries, we go after profit, and attacking the Royal Navy doesn't seem profitable to me. He also wouldn't help the Council in a fight, unless paid well. Some wiggle-room in the diplomacy would be nice.
I'd have the Courier and L'Ane available without requests to the Brigands, the transport's infocard states it was produced by both the Brigands and the Unione Corse, and both are used by Unione Corse NPCs.
These are not exactly military ranks. Some of them are complex, yes. But I hope it's nothing that one can't handle.
People will also be stimulated to give their best if they know they'll be promoted.
Now,about the Gallic Royal Navy and the Council. No one said we will attack the Navy every time we see them. The "Hostile" stamp is just showing that they won't waste their chances to annihilate us.
We also make profit by helping the Council.Sometimes it's not just credits. The Council supplies us with different commodities.
We won't go openly helping them in the middle of Royal Space unless there's a very good reason to.
Be that credits or something else.
Nice Mon amis, I have had talking with some of the UC and so far very good role play, was apost to have a meeting but after a decision that had to be put away with. maybe with the new role play ill be trying that I will meet you guys in the future and try to beat the 3-4 hour role plays I've had in the past, so far I've had about 3 hours at one time with some UC and loved it, and that one person I talked to for a strategy use them as boarding ships, Au Revoir
I've just joined the [UC], but was an indy Corse before that - I'm having a blast! I love the faction proposal - here's hoping for some more fun!
I was wondering though, would we want to be seen as closely allied to the Maquis? Especially if the Maquis factions are more terrorism and less pirating/smuggling orientated. Surely it would mean the GRP could no longer turn a blind eye to some of our activities if they though we were helping terrorists? They could be put to friendly rather than ally? Although as I write it, it seems kinda pointless...meh!
