Ms Silvan, if you will kindly cease with your avoidance tactics and answer the man out right.
Why is it that you have not called the Council to full session to verify membership? This was normal practice when King Mal was chair.
You aren't on trial, no one has asked that nor do we have the ability to put you on trial. We can however point things about you out to the people that can remove you from the seat you presently warm.
I have personally requested that the Council members provide feedback to Mr Lightwing via the Council's private records. I contacted all those that I could remember from my time in the Council.
Do the right thing Silvan, call your Council to full session and verify membership. You want the Council to have the same rights as OSI, TAZ, and ZTC in regards to representation yet you refuse to verify membership?
If you will look at the several messages made by yourself and other Zoners you'll notice that several members of the Council have responded to them. Mr. Lightwing can testify to this that several members of the Council have also already spoken their opinions on both my Security Committee proposal, the counter-proposal, and the proposal on Zoner ship restriction. I've been keeping track of who has been participating and who isn't. The Council -is- in full session, however we do not converse on every matter through the same galaxy-wide comm system. We have another comm system through the S.K.Y.P.E. interface. Being a former member of the Council, you should know of this yourself, and of the fact that not everything is spoken about on this interface.
The list will be updated, but will be done so according to the procedure that was voted on and put into place several months back. After someone misses three votes they are to be removed. That's the procedure. Not some 'roll call'. I have already removed from the list those people that resigned from the Council. Those who are no longer participating will be removed as their count of missed votes reaches three.
Also, I would gladly answer the man outright, for I would love to show that his accusations are incorrect. However, it is not I, but he who is using avoidance tactics here. He has yet to mention concrete examples, or provide any proof for his accusations and insinuations. As such there is nothing for me to answer, for he has posed no questions nor any facts.
And whether it happens in a court room or over comms like this, a trial is a trial, and this is one. But I don't mind that, I only wish those persecuting me could offer some kind of evidence to support their accusations, but this has yet to happen.
Do these 2 cases actually prove that Queen Silvan is trying to obstruct any attempt made by official Zoner factions to get what's rightfully theirs:
1. Blocking TAZ from getting rights on the sale of Aquilon warship which is sold in their system - Baffin. Somehow, information that it's produced in Livadia made it's way into it's info-card
2. Queen Silvan blocked purchase of the Omicron 74 system by the ZTC, when it was on the brink to be approved by the A.D.M.I.N.S.
Are these two cases clear obstructions, or you have some falsely moral explanation for them?
Also don't following cases show how Queen Silvan is acting according to her own will and disregarding Zoner ways and laws:
1. Queen Silvan by her actions chased away from the CoZ some of it's most respected members. On the other hand Queen Silvan keeps under her skirt and protects warmongering, Jinkusu flying, hotheaded greenhorns, even when they brake Zoner and Sirius laws.
2. Didn't Queen Silvan made several decisions in the last few months, without even putting them on vote in the so-called CoZ? Which other reason would she have if not to hide the fact that there are maybe half a dozen of members left, most of them being those I described in the precedent point.
Does the so-called Council of Zoners have the right to be called that when
1. Nobody knows how many Zoners are it's members and
2. Nobody knows who those members are
3. Also, how come such an para-organization enjoy rights that even some recognized factions cannot enjoy?
There are some questions/accusations for you! Keep those answers coming, since I have some more to ask.
I am not easily angered, but once you tick me off it will take either bullet or tranquilizer dart to put me down.
You seem to be extremely misinformed Mr. Noori. First off, an Aquilon 'infocard'? I don't really know what this is. From the context it seems you are speaking of some sort of description.. Well the description of these vessels are made by the ship designers, I had nothing to do with it. Furthermore, since the Aquilon's construction site being Livadia is reality, it does lend credence to what I said, doesn't it? Baffin has no shipyard in it, are you suggesting they built it there when they don't have the facilities to do so?
(OOC: And here I'm going to have to add an OOC line, because this has gone beyond any realm of decency. I will NOT tolerate accusations of modding in changes for personal benefit. I had nothing to do with the Aquilon's infocard, or the Juggernauts, or any Zoner ship's infocards. I will be speaking to your faction leaders about this, because this I find extremely insulting OORP, and won't stand for it.)
And blocked the Consortium's purchase of Omicron-74? What reason would I have for that? I have supported the Consortium's goal of purchasing governorship of that system from the start and have even offered my services in helping to move stations to new locations when they mentioned an interest in doing so. Both of these accusations are entirely baseless.
(Again OOC: This also seriously pissed me off. First off, I'm no admin. I'm not a moderator either. I have no say on who does or doesn't get to purchase a system. If you want to know why it took awhile, I suggest you ask the admins, for I had no part in the process at all, and even supported the Consortium in getting it. Congratulations, you've managed to insult me and piss me off OORP, which is a very rare thing.)
I can only suggest the reference to 'protecting hotheaded Greenhorns' was in reference to Sarenson? If I were protecting him, why would I have punished him after his fiasco in Liberty? Simply abiding by a personal decision to avoid 'banishing' Zoners from the community, which means -any- Zoners, doesn't mean I'm protecting them. I don't believe in banishing anyone from the Zoners unless they have committed crimes that are beyond forgiveness. If you have a problem with that personal choice, go ahead and voice it, but it won't change.
Also, what decisions did I make without putting them to a vote other than to dissolve the SHIZL? And recall if you would please, the SHIZL was never part of the Council of Zoners, it was intentionally kept separate from the Council and was never under the Council's authority. The Council couldn't vote on the SHIZL situation, for the SHIZL didn't belong to it. That is one of the reasons I decided to abolish it, because it could not be held accountable for its actions. If there are any other examples, feel free to name them, if they exist.
The Council knows full well who is active and who isn't. It's very easy to tell from looking at who has actively conversed about the issues up right now, which happens to be about a dozen individuals currently. If you perhaps paid more attention, you also would know who these people are, for they have addressed issues put forth by other Zoners publicly, for all to see.
And lastly, what does the Council enjoy that TAZ, OSI, and ZTC don't?

I find it shameful that you, the former members of this Council, shun it as if it were nothing more than fly on the wall.
If you truly wish for change, then you must be willing to challenge it! Do not leave because things are simply "not going my way". It is the reason why we have these discussions before a motion to vote is put forth.
The Council of Zoners was brought forth for all Zoners to lend their voice. This was to include your Zoner Corporations and Companies, the independents, and the citizens of the Zoner nation. Have you all forgotten that fact?
The decline of of the Council of Zoners, which could have potentially be; the single most unifying group in all of Sirius, is entirely the fault of those who refused to speak their mind and challenge the accepted norms. And when the going go tough, the tough up and left. Went on to better things, so it seems.
You all have criticized the actions that have been taken by this establishment. Yet, what have you done about it? What have you truly done to make things right? Did you submit a proposal? Did you request a revision? Did you even vote? Or did you just simply leave?
All this begun by me being prohibited from speaking in the Council chambers, so you are the one who has been misinformed Mr. Mosinger. As for the Silvan - making counter accusations is proven not to be a good defensive tactics. Making threats neither. None of my claims were proven wrong, but just intentionally misinterpreted. I'm asking for a straight and clear response. Also, somehow you think you managed to avoid my last point - CoZ membership and legitimacy. Speak Silvan, say the truth if you have the guts to do so, try to be opened and honest for once in your life or hold your piece for good!
You were denied access to the Council of Zoners' private session because you simply failed to register in the appropriate channel and await confirmation. Had you done so, you would have been granted full access to Chambers as well as it's facilities. If I may, I will now direct you to the appropriate channel: http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?sh...gistry&st=0
In the past, many members of the ]c[ were permitted to join almost immediately. I do believe there is still one active in the Council. On another note, among other facilities, we have a wonderful regulation tennis court and a large mixed bath for Delegates to enjoy. Although, I dare say that it has been lonely as of late. Company is scarce, especially of the effeminate variety.
Madame Silvan, I will vouch for this person. He appears to want to contribute so please allow him that opportunity.

Sitting in his private chamber aboard Med.Force.One, John Holliday reads through the many responses and accusations being presented. He says nothing, not even unto himself. He can only shake his head at a great many things that are said. The arguing, the finger pointing and constant going around in circles gives him a good reminder of why he doesn't miss it.
Sitting back in his chair a bit, taking a sip of wine, he turns of the com and thinks. He enjoyed his time as Chairman but he enjoys his work more and keeping watch over his own flock, the Temporary Autonomous Zoners. He also thinks of those who have earned his trust, the members of the Zoner Trading Consortium and the Omicron Supply Incorporated, started by the late Sam Nichols. He looks up, smiles and toasts the air with his glass, "Sam, you are missed."

Anyone else thing it's simply time to make a new council, who cares what the name is, and let the CoZ wither on the vine without anyone paying it any attention ?
And shark, I agree. This thread has served its purpose. Time to replace the council.
