Average pirate demand amount? Noticing a pattern here...

5mil is bad, but not THAT bad. And as for attitude, I type fast. But not fast enough it seems. 5 seconds is all it takes for them to start shooting again.

However, the other half of my pirates are 5mil or less, so no problems there.
Majority of them now, in fact. Maybe its liberty, I don't know.

Everyone charges 1m for me. One guy charged 300k. Some just charge 1 piece of gold. Maybe it's because I'm a nice person, who doesn't flame pirates, and everyone knows me along my traderoute. Today, I got let off by a molly that tried to pirate me after he heard how nice and generous I was.

In Roleplay it makes sense, what are these Miner punks doing in my Kusari.


Most of the time, they swear and F1, infact... all the time, so they deserve it.

well in RP you may be right, i dont know which side you mention here, but not all of those Miners are like you just said:D

as an example ... today i have meet an Hogosha Tranporter in my Mining Ship and all he wanted was "just" 500 Units so this sounds more fair to me, in RP and on the ... you can say fun/game side.

Fist of all, no one knows my in game name for my trader. And it keeps changing just in case. Secondly, I wasn't doing anything OORP.
Now, I don't really trade anymore, just waiting for something of opportunity to show up, then maybe I'll do it. Like if there was another helgoland route next patch.

I start high. Very high in the case of miners. (50%, more if they've annoyed me in the past).

I then work my way down if they RP/don't try and run. If I feel they did a good job I send them their cash back after the interaction is done.

Very very few do a good job, mostly it's them spamming the cruise button/swearing at me/F1ing.

And just how high is very high? Because if its 5/6mil and talked down to 3/4, its high but I ain't complainin.
Just hate those 10mil or dai and they mean it. No 10mil in 10 seconds, boom.

Quite literally, heres how my interaction goes

*CD, shoot till shield gone, hull at 50%*
Pirate 'HALT'
*me halts*
What do we have here <some skip this step>, wot r ye carryin n where?
Me tells them 'Fish food sir, for terraforming on california'
*start shootin to deplete shield again*
10mil to pass
Sir I cannot afford that, maybe we can work something out? I have to feed my family -
*start shootin before I can finish*
10 MIL OR ELSE
At which point I decide if I'm close enough to my destination or not and if I should pay.

Some just come up, blast hull to near nothing, say 10mil to pass, shoot me with one gun continually and blow me up before I can even type out my first line.

But happening less now that I moved out of liberty and the south systems
