I have enough of this inactivity, I'm like I have no goals at all. I find it's a great retirement, I'll be able to say I passed good times in Curacao but I feel I missed something. I feel like I had to realize something in my life, something that will make the others remember me. My name, I don't want my name fall out of the people memories.
Today with Oliver, we started talking about our good times here. It's a nice hotel. We have money, cardamine and so all we want, or almost... Oliver felt the same. We wanted to make something particular, something it would put and keep our names in the memories.
Oliver had a nice idea about that. He told we could let this day be the Day 1, the day we came back to live.
Oliver and I are now decided to do come back to the activity. That's now two years we left the technology advancement where it was. We will start from almost nothing I suppose. I talked to a good old friend, Renault. He work as Junker. He told me we could get some cardamine easily in space so there would not be any problems for we can survive ... and have still our personal pleasure. I don't know so much more about his job. It seems he's in a Collector and make the scrap metal in pieces for it can enter his cargo hold. Not so passionating job, but that will let me have an access to any kind of technology, the Liberty Navy were used to lose pieces of their ships pretty often, I guess that's still the case.
There we are. Renault made Oliver and I get a job as junkers. The pay is low but the time dedicated for our work is low as well. That just gives us enough time to do what we planed to.
Oliver is actually getting all the ideas of Sirius but for now, we have found nothing but useless things.
It's like our lives had no meaning.
I should ask Oliver to start his logbook. If we unsuccessfully find our "raison d'etre", this logs will at least survive and let anyone else know where we failed.
This job around Rochester is really low paid. I have enough to lose my time with these scrap metal they never stop to come. The Liberty Navy, the Liberty Police, the Outcasts and the Rheinlanders waste their warships at a speed I couldn't believe. At least, that mean we still have some work.
Unfortunately, they work a bit too much on their wars. We hardly can find a usable machine for our researches and simulations.
