More news from the battle front. A Helghast gunboat entered the Gamma system whilst I was relaxing on Crete, enjoying some fine steak, I might add. I received word that the normal Corsair fighters couldn't deal with him, so I had to leave my food... THOSE DAMN HELGHAST!!! Needless to say he paid dearly...
[attachmentid=2062]
Since I was up and running at that point, scanners revealed another Helghast in Omega 11. Since the bomber had taken some damage, I decided to use my Avenger to eradicate the Helghast problem.
[attachmentid=2063]
Seems I was a bit out of practice in my Avenger and took a torp straight on the nose. I have let down my fellow coaltition fighters and I am prepared to receive any punishment you feel necessary. This Helghast thinks he got an easy kill and must think the same about us all. I will double my training efforts and I vow to destroy this piece of alliance filth in the near future.

Was on patrol near Freistadt Base in O-7 when a experimental 'Manta' training squadron showed up on long range scopes. Apparently, they failed to recognise my ID, and made the foolish mistake of demanding cargo from me.
In pitched combat i took out 2 of the 3 fighters while sustaining minimal damage. The last fighter preffered surrender to death, and I allowed him to pilot his ship back to Cape Verde Station before I order the local marine detachement to... eliminate him. Surrender is the cowards way out. Once he was disposed of, I looked over the ship and pronouned it spaceworthy.
I've convinced some techs to transfer weapons & special systems to the fighter. So far, it has proven excellent in combat, and I've returned to active duty after a week in dry-docks, now awaiting furtre orders.
Admiral, a trader named Miner_49 has offered to lend us his services in paying the great space modder, I'm awaiting response on the go-ahead.

SA gunboat LNS OsoRojo engaged in Cambridge outside the Omega 5 jumphole. Maybe this alliance fool will learn to fly his ship before overstepping his reach again.

The usual fight stats. Minimal damage taken, maximum damage dealt. As to be expected, since I majored in Bomber flight and Nova operation.

Axe I am glad to see that my Avenger has seviced you well despite a few scratches. No punishment is going to Administrated the only punishment that is going to be administrated will be to the Helghast.

Mr. Kruzman, your offer is enticing, and as the SCRA already have several samples, and are anticipating several more in the near future, we'll be happy to agree. However, a tailored virus just isn't our... style. I'd prefer a deal in the form of some amount of the following, both for my intelligence agents and for fighter pilots:
Quote:Panimmunity - Never get sick again! These nano machines will circulate your blood and body, and are tailor made for you to attack any and all foreign materials!
Cell Surgeons - More nano-machines from SiN Tech! Get an injection of Cell Surgeons, and let them sit. Most of the time they won't activate. But get shot, hit, stabbed, or hurt in any way (Except psychological... We have drugs for that) and they go to work! They can repair, cleanse, and stimulate regrowth, all with the energy from your body!
Quote:Military Grade HEIS (M-HEIS) - This armor is heavier and bulkier then the standard HEIS model, but provided extra protection against lasers, bullets, and shrapnel. Uses special ceramic plates inserted into pockets on the suit to protect legs and arms, a vest of the same material, and a helm that allows military communications and IFF software to be installed, plus customization of functions such as Battle Recorders, special optics, or advanced comm systems.
Quote:Destruct Nano - Disperse throughout a targets blood stream and lie dormant until active. Can be activated with a pre-set condition, such as eating a specific food, sexual arousal, touch of a particular person, a chemical scent, or even the use of another drug or nano injection. Once the destruct sequence has been activated, the machines begin the process of sabotaging and dismantling cells. Reduces target to a "Khaki goo" within hours.
Telesend - Communication on a whole new level. With just a simple touch, you can share images, concepts, and memories. It's called Cell Communication, and it's the best way to plot and conspire, plus you can even do it in broad daylight!
Also, some of your weapons systems have attracted my interest, but those are a secondary concern. For now, a discussion over private comms over price will be satisfactory, and once we've captured sufficient Helghast at Cape Verde Station, we will be happy to turn them over to you.
Regards, Grand Admiral Mcintosh

SCRA, this is a General Directive. All Helghast ships are now under Hunt and Kill status. Retrieve the pilots, but do not endanger yourselves doing so, their broken bodies will suffice nicely. Go forth, and massacre all in your path!

Right, That little run-in with the Helghast was a close one and If the [IND] and you guys showed up I might have been toasted, Sleeper.Cell.II just wasn't meant for anti-fighter/bomber combat. Battle recording equipment was destroyed after a hit on my hull. (Forgot screeny) But nevertheless we are Victorious even if It was only one win.
I still don't really want this enchament after all now but if its mandatory then I hope It is for the best...

Kekekekekeke.... So yeah man I got chased and everything was fine then all sudden Boom. Yeah, Nomads gotta love em gotta hate em. That old weapon load out did not work that well with me anyway the whole "support role" is well... bad. So I was under hot pursuit and then proceeded to some Nomad system and Made some quick repairs while docked at a Zoner base. Why are the Zoners so far out here anyway?
"Hey you, get some guns on my ship" I told him, the Equipment dealer
He looked at me rather confused.
"Do you speak English get some guns on my ship double time!"
So after giving him a large sum cash. He quickly loaded up[ the guns on as fast as he could like that were cursed or something. I undocked and what do you know those bounty hunters that were chasing me were gone. I realized that he didn't put the guns right... they didn't fire. Where can you find fast service these days? I re docked marched back in there and demanded that he fix this mess up. Of course he had friends this time and they tossed me out.
So after a long 2 hours of avoiding bounty hunters and dodging Blue Aliens. I finally got to Crete. Surely the Corsairs wouldn't mind putting on some weapons for someone who wants to kill some BHG. I don't know if they were having a Tea Party or what but 3 hours were wasted trying to get my weapons on... The worse part is that they put on the wrong weapons. I was really angry but I realized there was 20 of them and they also had my ship so I got my broken incompatible weapons back on my ship that still don't fire.
I then proceeded to Strong point B (is this a place or coordinate Koolmo? and its in gamma right?) Where SCRA Weapons Techs. they knew exactly how to put them on and they did. I was really tired after all this useless flying around but realived and somewhat pissed.
But Jaden I bet you think I am drunk or something well I am sorta but the affects don't really affect you with this enchancement I guess that one of the drawbacks but you should really get it. I makes you more alert which means more late nights huh, Yeaaah.. I know you want it.

As per usual, my day started off with a fibre full breafast and a glass of imploding Helghast... A Helghast gunboat was spotted by Cobalt on long range scanners whilst we were conversing about his new gun setup. Rather strange but very effective! Anyway, said Helghast was running with a Cruiser, one of the corsairs cruisers I believe. Seems a Blood dragon had somehow got a hold of one. No idea how, I'm sure the Corsairs would have given us information about such a security leak. We immeadiately engaged the Helghast gunboat, as they engaged Cobalts gunboat. Seeing their tactic, Cobalt drew there fire whilst I pummelled them from behind. The Helghast was soon destroyed with extreme predjudice:
[attachmentid=2069]
By this time, I was amazed Cobalt was still in the fight. Taking flak from both the gunboat and a cruiser must have been hard to deal with. He continued to draw the cruisers fire until his hull started to crack. Taking the safe option and ejecting, I tractored in his pod.
The cruiser was then at my mercy. I utilised the full potential of my bombers manouverability to stay behind him and pummel his engines. Needless to say he didn't last long:
[attachmentid=2070]
Absolute minimal damage taken (no bots or bats used at all) except for the loss of one gunboat, which is easily replaced. The Helghast should learn as to whom they are dealing with before I stop defending and start attacking...

((ooc: There were some comments about ramming after the fight was decided. Ramming is inevitable in most fights, even between fighters. If someone stops dead in front of me whilst I'm right on their tail you can see what is going to happen. I apologise for ramming, however it was accidental and unavoidable. As were the other instances of ramming by others that occured during that fight.))

Intel provided information on an SF fighter in Newcastle earlier. Flying Admiral Korr's old Avenger, I set out through cambridge, New London and into Manchester, looking for the Newcastle jump hole. During this time, I was informed of a HF ship in Magellan. Obeyoing orders to terminate pirates first, I changed routes and entered Magellan.
It turned out that the HF fighter was under equiped and of no match for myself. Exchanging comms, and feeling rather generous, I decided to announce I was going to save his death for another day. My generousity was immeadiately thrown back in my direction. Apparently, I would be no match for him blah blah blah. I had heard enough so I pummelled him whilst chomping on some of those Coalition Cookies (they are some good eating by the way :D), pretty much flying one handed really.
Seems he realised at that point the difference between our ships (ignorance isn't bliss afterall...) and decided to dash towards the Vespucci jump hole, where he jumped and decided he was safe... WRONG!
I immeadiately jumped after him and gave him another good pummelling for all the guards to see.
[attachmentid=2074]
Just another case of an Alliance ego out-weighing ability. Someday they will learn. Unfortunately, it is already too late for them...

I can't believe I lost all those new shiny guns and liberty Gunboat A well better go get another one then. (That gunboat I had was hjacked) I remember last time my Avenger flew into the sun while I was sitting in my shiny new gunboat. Good Times... good times. I however want to implement this new flight control system into my gunboat and maybe upgrade my hull a bit on my new gunboat. I still keep the name that was on all my ships just because that shows how stubborn I am.
