Discovery 4.85 Encounter, Mission, and System Bugs

Well, I was cruisin' around in Tau 23, and the asteroids looked blacker than normal.



I have no idea what's going on here.

It's not really harmful to my gameplay, it's just a bit odd.

In Tau 23, the Outcast ships around Cali Base have Pirate Pilots, could they be 'upgraded' to Outcast pilots?

I just had a hard lock on entering Languedoc. At first I breathed a sigh of relief (I had no bots/bats at this point due to getting <strike>raped</strike> badly messed with by Outcasts) as I had made it, but then, after playing a short bass tune, the entire system froze. Since I was on the 24/7 server at the time, but it was a hard lock, I'm not sure weather this goes here or in server reports. I also have no idea if my character survived the mines that happened to be surrounding him on three sides at the time. Not counting up/down.

In Tau 23, the Outcast ships around Cali Base have Pirate Pilots, could they be 'upgraded' to Outcast pilots?

Just like Outcast ships in Liberty/ some sigmas/ some other taus have. And just like low-level Corsair ships have.

Reason for this is that the "full" Outcast/Corsair pilots sell for a lot of money and farming those low level ships for them would be rather easy.

Hello,

Today I took 2 missions with my KSP char ([KSP]Toko.Oyashio), both in the Shikoku system.
The first one in the morning the second one in the late afternoon.
In both cases, at the place where the battle had to be, there was only the purple way marker but no enemies.

I flew back to the stations where I took the mission and did not hear any message from the mission commision that I was escaping the battle.
Landed on the station I could easly take an other mission if I had wanted.
My relation with the KSP did not drop.

Please inform me what it could be.

First post and then just a bug report...tsss, i know. No screenshots, sorry.

Been on for a couple of days now and recently was doing missions out of Cold Bay Depot in the Hudson system. However, there is one mission target area that's a bit unorthodox...had it 2-3 times now that the dear bosses wanted me to take out ships or a base inside the sun corona. Mission waypoint is directly west of the sun, about 2-2.5k inside the sun corona. This works fine for kill-ships missions, as you approach and the enemy ships spawn, they immediatly get vaporized and you succeed instantly, but sucks for capture missions as escape pods or cargo gets vaporized too, naturally. And I somewhat doubt that playing catch-the-solar-storm has become that attractive a game for Hudson pirates...
Got myself a nice decompression too on the first mission as I just used GoTo as usual and suddenly "Warning! Entering Sun Corona!" But no chance to react, got blown up immediatly after that warning...

One more problem to report. Dont know if anybody else has reported this but misions taken on Manhatten are glitched. When you see the ships you are supposed to kill, they immediately accelerate out of waypoint range. Cruise engines dont allow you to give chase also. If you try to run a hopeless race against them the mission commision orders you to go back in to waypoint range. You are forced to fail the mission.

not sure if i have correct forum, been away for a while. i noticed that the sun diameters in relation to the nebluas containing them seems off, mainly the chunks of material are right up to the sun atmosphere.
also there seems to be a problem with the death zones in relation to the suns diameter. i am including a attached file with the changes i am making for my installtion in case you find the changes benefical to future updates. i applogize if i have the incorrect forum.

Okinawa system.
The light source is located in the 0.0.0 point, but the sun is 30k up to the north.
if you are flying near sun, (between sun and light source) the shadows on the ship are on the sun side.
it looks weird.
Light source should be in the sun.

Come out of Omicron Iota Jumphole and set a Waypoint on Kappa. Press "Go To." Your ship doesn't know how to go around the 3 suns, It goes above it, moves around left and right some and then runs into one of their Coronas. Then i hit Escape and fly up as fast as i can. Haven't gotten SS
