There are spots outside the NPC patrol paths that we can use. North of the Carcassonne in Languedoc was used in the betas since there's no spawns there, we could do a basic pitched battle there. Above Planet Tonnerre works too, as do a few other places that aren't hard to get to.

I can join either on my Maquis or GRN, fighter or bomber for the former and anything other than a cruiser for the latter.

Speaking of caps, are we going for a fighter furball or a full fleet engagement?

Well, the plan fell apart immediately, but I had a fun battle followed by an excellent duel. And Gallia has more people within it than for a long while, so I'm counting it as a success. Sort of. Still, I had a lovely time.

What days are people good for, and what timezones should we go for?

I've seen a lot of LC on around US-ish timezones (GMT -4, -5, -6), perhaps that's a good place to start thinking about times. Some evening or other, probably in the midnight GMT range?

LC would be proud to take its place in that events. I will try to prepare some scenarios.
Atm we have Black Sun in Champagne and I was thinking in some RP event with Nomads scouting party in Lorraine.
Some good RP and pew pew for pvp fans.
