About Curtana: ja, it was King Edward's "Sword of Grace" but the name is also commoly used, at least in some european countries, to define a type of ornamental "very short" sword.

firstly you say - "HF gets a shipline" - is that already decided? - i don t ask that out of spite - but mostly cause it saves a lot of work when its not entirely sure to include a whole line.
regarding to the original lore of the HF, they made use of the liberty ships they left libery with. - a whole new shipline is always a little bit problematic, especially when its not obviously based on the original ships.
or to put it more bluntly... - we have one other faction that has based its ships on ships they stole / left the core with - and that is the order.
the order are very good shipbuilders ( in terms of concepts ) - but all their ships still very much resemble the original ships they started with. - the anubis looks similar to the avenger, the other capships are mostly based on the osiris.
looking at this design makes me think .. "how did the hackers come up with such a completly new design - or ... not even hackers... its the HF - a mere splinter group that took shelter within the hackers community"
now - thats just the introduction - and we ought to say something about the model itself...
the mesh looks good. - by the first glance, it looks like a gunboat and looks strikingly similar ( not in shape, but in style ) to the IMG gunboat - or rather what the IMG gunboat looked like.
since the model is rather advanced ( in terms of quality ) i m sure i can also apply some more serious critizism.
the basic shape of the ship is rather boring. - too square... there re no really exciting elements about it ( except the fin .. but thats not enough ) - what i miss is a real eye catcher. - currently, it is a cube with extrusions in several ( but fitting ) places. - but there s not much more about it.
what makes a ship exciting are round elements clashing with oblong and straight ones. - lines that focus in specific points to center the ship - and elements that stretch it ( or in short - excitement happens mostly by applying contradictions )
so - i think you ll need to add something that breaks out of the rather oblong shape. - something more than just extrusions.
And yes, it is decided. They are meant to resemble a blend of Lane Hacker and Libertonian tech, and if you take a closer look at that gunboat I think you'll see what I mean.
As far as flashy things go, there really isn't a whole lot of room for improvement, the ship simply doesn't have enough space left on it for that sort of thing. Remember, it's supposed to be a warship and not a sports car.

Hi. I talked to Igiss about that. I should still have the chat logs with him confirming we had the go ahead. I'm going to go back into hiding now.
It reminds me of the Liberty Assault Carrier and the Zaphyr....
Id like to see some change to the nose... it appears odd, odd being its not even looking like a merge between liberty and LH tech... looks more like IMG and Liberty + a severly drunk/high modelmaker...
sorry, but i agree with Chester, its rather boring... maybe add some external power lines?
