Ok, virus I agree with the topr/disrupter mounts being removed, I hardly use the wasp I had and the swarm missile is now useless against shields so i sold that too :D . Removing the CM and mine dropper would make it similar to other cap ships. Besides even with them I've lost count of the number of times I've been mobbed by NPC's. You can only kill one at a time which leave the others to hit you with so many (usually) high strength weps you gonna lose the shield before you kill half em :( . The 2 class 10 guns make it unique so I still suggest leaving them, but I for one dont mind losing the 2 torp/disrupter mounts and the CN and mine dropper, maybe 1 to 4 of the turrets to bring the amount of firepower it can dish out down a bit.

That would make it the strength of a gunboat, or less... Get rid of the level 10 guns keep the torps and maybe lose 2 turrets also, but also add a little energy because it cant fire continuasly like other cruisers can. Also it doesn't come with its own guns meaning it is usually weaker to start with. removing both torps would make it easy enough for an Eagle to kill without losing its shield.

Torps against an Eagle..... In a capship aren't very usefull. I never got hit by your torps. Only your 9-10 missiles every now and then.

Alright, I'm gonna change my mind on this. Give it more energy, and remove one lvl10 gun mount, and either both CD/T mounts, or remove one and leave the other CD. I mean enough to almost completely deplete it when firing all BS missiles. I think this is fair.


And if you change this Igiss, could you also make the Tizona Del Cid invisible again?

Umm.. hey the torps were hitting you along with the missiles i was firig both at once you jusrt didn't see it. If you take those torps, even one, it wont have the power of a cruiser.
either that or make it possible to use cap-ships guns. Which means making the ship bigger so the turrets arent out of place, hihgering the energy levels, and taking the torp and guns off, the CM, and the mines. I think we should make a poll on whether or not to take off the torps.

Sindwinders might be slightly more effective against fighters and novas will be a bonus to destroying other cap ships. I haven't tried this ship yet but as soon as i get the money, i'll get it :)

I would like that too. Mainly because I usually only mount one of them, and it now makes the shots look unbalanced and confusing. I've always seen Tizona as a kind of stealth weapon. Now it's obvious who is firing it.

Regarding the Huegenot, I haven't tested it but looking at the infocard things look OK, as long as it doesn't have too much energy and it isn't as agile as a fighter.

Discovery 4.78.1 new version (Final) is available now.

Changes:

- Credit cards - 10.000, 100.000, 1.000.000, and 9.999.999 versions.
- Tizona is invisible.
- Chaingun balance changed according to what you told me.
- 5.88 refire rate weapons are now only 4-6% stronger than original (earlier they were 40-60% stronger).
- Huegenot has only one torpedo mount and lacks level 10 gun mounts.
- Testudo model and name changed (stats remain the same, so you can leave it if you've bought it before)
- A few more fixes.

Download link remains the same (look at my sig below).

The new version will be installed serverside in half an hour. Be sure to get it soon enough.
