Rogue fighters were awesome... in vanilla. Y'know, before the age of the mini razor and snac.
If it werent for insta-kills at the hands of weapons that never should've existed in the first place, perhaps they'd still be good. Unfortunately, what's done cannot be un-done =(
' Wrote:It turns like a rock, is the size of a small bomber, but other than that, yeah its pretty good, just don't mount five 2.00 codenames on it unless you have godly accuracy (if you do, you'll be able to crush fighters, bombers and freighters alike).
So yeah, its got lots of firepower and a big core, but it tends to take a lot of punishment from other fighters.
Do not talk about it if you havent flown it.

It turns faster than guardian.
The ship is more specialized. And isnt that universal. It can stand in one on one fight. Or one on two if you lucky enought to instakill one of the lads (torp + cd). band of these combined with infernos (if Lr still can use them) can rape capfleets in the matter of minutes. While will suffer very have damage from a figter group fight.
The ship is also awsome for piracy.
I have it, I don't use it much, but I like it. Soled a cruisser with this baby once. It has the potencial.

... Well I feel it turns like a rock, besides, I did have one up till today, when I decided that I'd fix the fact that I was an Independent pirate using Rogue gear, and sold it.
So yeah, don't assume things you don't know, and please think about the fact that I don't work in the balance area, and don't really have much of a feel for ships. So I'm sorry I didn't get a precise readout on the turning.
Can't really think of anything else that hasn't already been said, so yeah...
Edit: ahh, right, its armor means that its rather hard to instakill without additional normal gunfire.
' Wrote:will you test it out, i'm curious about your ingame impressions
I went ahead and took the plunge, bought the werewolf, and my current loadout is:
3x Sammaels
1x Belial Turret
2x Imp Debilitators
1x Train Cruise Disruptor
1x Sunslayer Torpedo Launcher
From what a few others have said, the mini razor can be a bit sketchy on this thing with an odd firing arc, so I figure if I can use the sunslayers + disruptor properly, I can blast enemy fighters more easily. It wont be ideal for piracy, I'll probably have to pirate in groups still, but I want to test this thing out against the LN fighters and such.
First impressions are meh, it's a fricking huge ship but it does seem to turn rather quick. The front and rear profile are very small, comparatively (thin profile, like BH ships) and it has a high strafe speed, so if I can keep the enemy jousting me I should be able to avoid a good portion of fire, while lining up those torpedo/disruptor shots and using the guns to deal with shields.
With the mk8 armor upgrade I've got 43,750 armor total, so nobody will be 1-shotting this thing even with mini razors. It'll take 3 MR hits to kill it, if I dont use bats/bots, and it dodges well enough from the front and back that I should be able to avoid the majority of enemy fire... hopefully.
Havent fought with it yet, but we'll see how it goes.
It's not very good for fighter battles, but its awesome for killnig gunboats and especially transports. I pirate in mine all the time, just have to make sure you stay away from the lawfuls.
That's pretty much the same setup I use but I use a mini razor instead.
I applaud you for trying it out. I personally liked the Werewolf, but if I had listened to people like Zapp, I wouldn't have flown it. >: (
The Sabre, on the other hand(at least, the 4.84 sabre), was apparently the best ship in the game. It was so vaunted that I tried it out, and I died 4 times in a row. To Eppy.
