So I was playing a good old fashioned game of Star Craft and I was like man the Confederates are badass! After talking with a few people via Skype the closest thing to a Confederate is the Xenos, and that gave me a great idea. (As a man who loves Political RP)
Idea: A Confederate Movement that to the public eye attempts to get seats in Government. It's members would be huge Isolationists who want Liberty to stand on it's own. Under the table the Confederate extremists would support the Xenos providing weapons, arranging police bribes and leaking information from the Government. All in the name of turning Liberty into a Isolated Interstellar Confederation. I've only just started writing up ideas so I'll probably add more later.

I don't like most new "Movement" ideas, but this is one is pretty good.
Constant civil wars .. benefits the lawful liberty side with more RP which is better for the noobies.
Benefits the Xenos, for the help they will be getting.
Also benefits the rogues, outcasts, LH, etc, because it will keep the lawfuls busy for them to do what they need.
I'd like to see where this idea goes.
But, for now I'm saying build up a good idea, if it works well, go for it.

Liberty's "Military Dictatorship" would make the 'dissidents' so to speak go away. It happens. Not just in combat, but in RP. You know it would happen.

Allow me to expand on what I said, they wouldn't brand themselves Xenos. They both believe in the same things and because of this Extremists within the Confederate Party would support the Xenos movement secretly, while the Politicians within the Party attempt to gain seats of power within the Government.
And Political RP is probably some of the greatest RP if you get good people doing it.
only thing is, if liberty were to be torn by civil war, how might some of the other factions take advantage of the situation. would they attempt to join the war to assist in crusing liberty, then turn their sights to conquring the xeno an its supporters?

Dont try to fight using a full widow eagle. Actually, for practice, Make a full archie bastet in OSP, and try that out. Its about the same, but with less damage.

hehehe, it promotes extreemly involved RP. and its also asking really young people to make difficult political decisions:P

I had a plan of making The Liberty Local Militia Xenos. Or as my friend liked to joke The Quaker State Irregulars. The Xenos do seem more like those cliched guys in the deep South sitting on their porch with a double barrel on their knees.
And then I realized: Xenos guns are short range to simulate them being like shotguns. Who knew?
And the Liberty Navy treats Xenos poorly. If you want RP, don't sit on the lanes.
